In an interview with “Chicks in the Office,” which was shared on Instagram on February 19, Ballas shared his thoughts on Rausch. He agrees that Rausch has played well, noting that comments on his appearance can take away from “how well he has played up to this point.”
Ballas emphasized “up to this point,” as the show is ongoing, but said Rausch is “smooth with it.” He continued, “He is really good at being your friend.” Ballas commented on how Rausch “went on the show and said ‘I’m like a cat, meow.’” He used this comment as an opportunity to discuss how Rausch and his bestie, Derek Hough, share a similar level of likability.
“I think two things can be true at the same time,” Ballas shared. “You can play ‘Traitors’ and be a chess player and strategist … he can be a great strategist and a game player … but he is also a like a really cool guy.”
