Rylee Arnold is headed back to the ballroom — at least for a short but exciting run.
The 20-year-old dancer announced on Sunday, March 1 that she’ll be joining the Dancing With the Stars live tour from March 6 through March 20, stepping in while several pros take time away for another project.
Arnold shared the news on Instagram during a get ready with me video.
Arnold Couldn’t Be More Excited
“I am going to be going on the Dancing With the Stars Live Tour,” she exclaimed as she couldn’t stop smiling.
She revealed she jumped straight into rehearsals, learning 14 dances in just two days as she prepared to hit the stage.
“So happy rehearsing and dancing again.,” Arnold added. “And these dances are so good.”
During the whole video, she continued to express her gratitude and happiness over joining the tour temporarily.
For Arnold, the surprise return is especially meaningful after a challenging decision last year.
Fans Couldn’t Get Enough
Fans quickly rushed to her comments section to express their happiness for Arnold.
“OMG congrats!!! That’s amazing that everything work out and your health is good enough for you to do so,” one fan wrote.
Others added how they already have bought their tickets and can’t wait to see her dance.
Another added, “WE KNEWWWW IT!! Welcome back Miss Rylee.”
Arnold Revealed She Couldn’t Be a Full-Time Cast Member Due to Her Health
According to Us Weekly, Arnold shared via her Instagram Stories in October 2025 that she wouldn’t be part of the full tour lineup because she needed to focus on managing her Type 1 diabetes.
“So sad I won’t be on the DWTS tour this year,” Arnold said. “Being on tour the last two years was seriously the most amazing experience ever. I’ve made the best memories and met the best people.”
She added, “This year, I had to make the hard decision to sit it out and focus on my health, especially with managing my Type 1 diabetes, which can be tricky on the road.”
Arnold, who was diagnosed at 15, has often spoken openly about her condition, encouraging others with diabetes and showing how she manages life on and off the dance floor.
Her upcoming tour dates show she’s still committed to dancing while listening to her body — something fans praised when she made her original announcement.
Arnold first gained widespread attention through her appearances on “Dancing With the Stars,” where her bright personality and strong technique quickly made her a fan favorite.
Her willingness to share both her triumphs and challenges has only deepened that connection with viewers.
Now, even if it’s just for two weeks, Arnold’s return promises high-energy routines, emotional performances, and a reminder of why audiences fell in love with her dancing in the first place.
