For quite a few years now, Demi Moore has been keeping her famously fabulous, flowing dark hair on the longer side. However, the star just showed up at Gucci’s FW26 Fashion Show at Palazzo Delle Scintille on Thursday, February 26, while slaying a dramatically different look.
“The actress, 63, stepped out during Milan Fashion Week sporting a bold new hairstyle, trading her signature long dark hair for a trendy wet-look bob,” according to People.
Getty“At the show, Moore paired her edgy new hairstyle with an all-leather ensemble of a fitted black jacket and slim black pants, put together by celebrity stylist Brad Goreski,” People added. “She wore large shades and black stilettos and carried a black handbag to complete the look.”
An Instagram post from Goreski noted that the full style was the work of Gucci’s new creative director, Demna Gvasalia.
In the comments of the post, Moore’s daughter, Tallulah Willis, wrote, “MOTHER.”
Rumer Willis also left a comment, writing, “Omg this hair!!! Go off queen.”
A fan of the star added, “It’s giving The Matrix’s Trinity! 😎”
Demi Moore’s Hairstylist Called Her Short Style a ‘Demi-tris BoB’
Moore’s eye-catching new ‘do — which could be a wig or a major chop — was crafted by celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos. Showing off the look in an Instagram video, he revealed that he had deemed the style the “Demi-tris BoB.”
“I wanted to give Demi a very bold and fashion forward look for [Gucci creative director] Demna’s show,” Giannetos said in a press release, according to People. “It is inspired by the silhouettes of the new collection. I felt an amazing, short, above the shoulder bob with this very sleek wet texture would be perfect to complement her look. It’s a big change for Demi — we’ve never seen her like this before! She looks very cool, effortless and modern. And it highlights her personality.”
Giannetos’s Instagram followers couldn’t get enough of the look, with one person writing, “I Can’t Even!! You just … made her even cooler. This is awesome. This is groundbreaking.”

Demi Moore’s ‘Mirco’ Dog Pilaf Was Also at the Gucci Event
Along with carrying a handbag during the Gucci show, Moore was also holding something very precious: her teeny-tiny dog, Pilaf. The pup even ended up sitting in the front row with the star.
“The micro Chihuahua made an appearance at Milan Fashion Week Fall, bringing Demi Moore along as her plus one,” Entertainment Tonight wrote on Instagram. Noting that Pilaf dozed off while the show went on (see the adorable pics above), ET added, “We’re not sure if falling asleep in the front row is a fashion faux pas, but the life of a diva is exhausting.”
While it might be surprising to see Pilaf at an industry event, Moore told Vogue in August 2024, “She was meant to be with me, and I was meant to be with her.”
