The 31st annual Critics’ Choice Awards took place on January 4, 2026, at the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport in Santa Monica, California. It was broadcast on E! and USA Network. The event — which honors the finest achievements of the year in filmmaking and television programming — was hosted by comedian Chelsea Handler for the fourth consecutive time.
Stars of the big and small screen came out in their droves for the occasion. They all looked incredible in their glitzy, glamorous, and gorgeous getups — none more so than Ali Larter, who stunned in a beautiful and classy number.
Larter is, of course, known for her roles in movies like 1999’s coming-of-age comedy “Varsity Blues,” 1999’s supernatural horror “House on Haunted Hill,” the “Final Destination” and “Resident Evil” horror franchises, and television shows “Heroes” and “Landman” (per IMDb).
Ali Larter’s Plunge Dress Was Black
GettyLarter, 49, dazzled on the red carpet upon her arrival at the 31st Critics’ Choice Awards. She wore a stunning figure-hugging black gown with an eye-catching plunging neckline. The dress featured large panels of fabric stitched together. A diamond shaped swatch at Larter’s midriff enhanced the impact of the dress’ high slit.
She Wore Simple Black Heels
GettyLarter complemented her gorgeous dress with an elegant pair of high heels. The simple black shoes featured a jeweled embellishment on the toe strap that added the perfect amount of bling to her lower extremities.
Larter Kept Her Jewelry to a Minimum
GettyThe actress went minimalist when it came to her jewelry. There was no necklace, bracelets, or brooches — and if she was wearing earrings, they weren’t noticeable. However, she did wear a few simple silver (or silver-colored) rings on her hands (two on her left, one on her right, from what we could see).
Simple but Elegant Hair & Makeup
GettyRegarding hair and makeup, Larter opted to style her luscious long blonde locks in simple waves that danced down her back. Her makeup was what you might describe as “barely-there,” which accentuated her already beautiful features.
Larter Presented 4 Awards
GettyLarter presented four awards at the event — Best Actor and Actress and Best Supporting Actor and Actress in a Limited Series — alongside her “Landman” co-star Michelle Randolph, who plays her daughter in the brilliant Paramount+ neo-Western drama series.

Larter Mingled at the Critics’ Choice Awards
GettyLarter took the time to mingle at the 31st Critics’ Choice Awards, which included getting photographed alongside the young media personality, fashion influencer, and correspondent Taylen Biggs (pictured above). Biggs is known for interviewing A-list celebrities and covering major fashion and entertainment events with precocious charm.
Keep slaying, Ali!
