The Great Gatlinburg Smoke Off on ‘The Great Food Truck Race’ 2026

Last week on “The Great Food Truck Race” Season 19, the teams competed in a three-legged race. For this, they had to sell at three different events. The lowest-selling teams from each event would then face off in the Taste Redemption Challenge. After selling at the University of Tennessee campus, the Rossini Opera Festival, and a whimsical fantasy village, the bottom teams were Caston Funnel Cakes, Bug & Bear’s Cannoli, and Waffadilla.

However, it was Waffadilla with immunity, so they didn’t have to compete. In the Taste Redemption Challenge, Caston pulled out the win, which meant Bug & Bear’s was sent home. The journey continues tonight, with the remaining teams all fighting to be named the winner of “The Great Food Truck Race” Season 19. Find out who got eliminated on “The Great Food Truck Race” 2026 tonight in our live recap below!

Week 4 Begins

The teams are in Gatlinburg. They meet Tyler Florence. He assigns them the Taste Challenge right away, as they will use a smoky ingredient to create a dish they will sell as a special. The winner gets $300 for their till. That smoky ingredient will be at the top of the mountain! They will take a chairlift up the mountain and then walk across the sky bridge to get the ingredient. One team member from each team must get the ingredient.

9:10 p.m. – The teams make it up and down the mountain. They have their smoky ingredient, so now it’s time to make their special dish. Hele Rolls is struggling with their pilot light, but trying to start their truck on fire when it burst out fire!

9:20 p.m. – The trucks are opening up. Stuph’d is behind everyone else and not open yet. Tyler sends them all a text, and he’ll be around soon to taste the dishes for the Taste Challenge.

9:32 p.m. – Tyler tastes all of the dishes, and Jollof Bowl wins the challenge and $300 for their till. He then announces the top and bottom teams in sales right now with two hours left in the day. The top-selling team is Cason Funnel Cakes, and the bottom-selling team is Stuph’d, which shocked most teams. They are now heading out to find people and increase their sales.

Total Sales

9:43 p.m. – The teams meet Tyler. The total sales for the day are:

  • First Place – $1,634 – Jollof Bowl (for getting the top position, they win the Pole Position Prize and will find out next week what that means)
  • Second Place – $1,416 – Stuph’d Beignets & Burgers
  • Third Place – $1,247 – Waffadilla
  • Fourth Place – $1,107 – Cason Funnel Cakes
  • Fifth Place – $914 – Hele Rolls (They have immunity this week, so they are safe)

That means Waffadilla and Cason will compete in the Taste Redemption Battle tonight.

Taste Redemption Challenge

8:45 p.m. – The guest judge tonight is barbecue expert Rashad Jones. For this challenge, they have to create a campsite dish where one of the ingredients is made over an open flame. The best dish stays, and the other teams is eliminated.
