In a recent social media post, the actress celebrated not only the completion of her upcoming project but also the rare opportunity to have her children join her during filming. Reeser Teases Upcoming Project Set in Canadian Rocky Mountains

“And that’s a wrap! 💖” Reeser wrote in the caption of her April 4 Instagram post. “I’ll share more in the future about this upcoming film but for now I’m just feeling grateful that these two pieces of my heart got to come to Canada to spend their spring break with me while I worked.”

She continued, “Having a healthy balance between career + family life was always a dream of mine — but creating a life in film hasn’t been easy while prioritizing mothering. We’ve had to figure out how to navigate it, together, every step of the way.”

“And I’m just so grateful that this time it worked out,” Reeser concluded in the caption of her post.

Fans showed an outpouring of support for Reeser in the comments:

“It looks like you’ve done a good job navigating between being both a mom and an actor. So glad they got to spend time with you while you were filming your latest movie,” one fan wrote.

Another fan added, “Welcome to the Rockies. Wishing you and your family a happy spring break and Easter weekend ❤️.”

“What a beautiful family in a beautiful place! So happy for you Autumn that it work out for you ♥️”

“Love those mountains in the background and smiling as I look at a happy Momma and her beautiful children.”

Reeser Opens Up About One Non-Negotiable Part of Her Parenting

Reeser often opens up about raising her two sons, Finn and Dash, once admitting that “hiking and camping” were a “non-negotiable” part of her parenting, something she learned from her own parents.

“I used to hike this trail with my boys during the pandemic, when we homeschooled and had Tuesday Hiking Club, just the three of us. There are these sweet little 1920’s cabins strung along a stream at the base of this mountain, all of which were mercifully saved during the LA fires,” Reeser wrote in a March 7 Instagram post.

She added in the caption, “I love bringing my kids to nature. The earth heals and enlivens something deep within us. Hiking and camping were passed down to me from my parents and easily became a non-negotiable part of my parenting, too. Earth is my teacher, guiding me and holding me and reminding me how to listen.”

Her son Finneus “Finn” James Warren was born in May 2011, and Dashiell “Dash” Ford Warren was born in November 2013, according to The List.

“Motherhood changed me profoundly,” Reeser told the Orlando Sentinel in March 2015. “I like to think it ‘beautifully broke me’ because it forced me to come to the most truthful, intimate version of myself … My children have truly been my greatest teachers.”
