Niven Takes Time to Reflect While Filming in Spain
“We’ve been working nights, so today I slept in and took my coffee out here to the balcony. Still pinching myself that I am here in Spain, doing what I love,” Niven wrote in the caption of her May 1 Instagram post. “I hope you have an extraordinary day too, wherever you are in the world. You are loved and you are blessed. 🙏❤️”
Chabert replied in the comments, “I’m so thankful we’re working on this together. Love you!”
“You are one of the most beautiful human beings I’ve ever met, both inside and out,” Niven wrote back. “It is an honor and a blessing to be doing this with you. Huge hugs and see you next week! 🤗❤️”
Their fellow leading lady, Alison Sweeney, who has starred alongside both Niven and Chabert in separate Hallmark projects, also commented in support. She added, “fabulous!!”
All About the Upcoming Hallmark+ Series ‘Paris Is Always a Good Idea’
“Paris Is Always a Good Idea” will be a six-episode limited series for Hallmark+ based on the best-selling romance novel by Jenn McKinlay.
The show’s official synopsis from Hallmark Channel reads, “Career-driven nonprofit executive Chelsea Martin (Chabert) travels to Paris with her confident rival-turned-ally, Jason Knightly (Foster) to secure a major donation but a heartfelt message from her late mother – and a loving push from her sister Annabelle (Hanssen) – sends her on an unexpected journey to reconnect with the three great loves she once left behind. From the rolling hills of Ireland to the magic of Paris and the sun-kissed vineyards of Spain, Chelsea retraces old footsteps and discovers that sometimes moving forward means first looking back.”
Chabert and Niven will be joined on location in Paris and Spain by Scott Michael Foster, Henry Czerny, and Rebecca Hanssen, according to PEOPLE.
Foster has been in Hallmark projects such as “Return to Office,” and “Love, For Real.” Czerny has starred in “The Russell Girl,” which is a movie part of the “Hallmark Hall of Fame.” Niven has starred in several Hallmark projects over the years, including “Chesapeake Shores,” “Cedar Cove,” “USS Christmas,” four installments of Hallmark Channel’s “Christmas in Evergreen” Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ “Crossword Mysteries,” and the “Hannah Swensen Mystery” (formerly “Murder, She Baked”) franchise. “Paris Is Always a Good Idea” will be Hanssen’s first project with the network.
The ensemble cast will also include Stephen Hagan, Julien Marlon Samani, and Alejandro Albarracín.
As well as leading the series, Chabert will serve as an executive producer.
“Paris Is Always a Good Idea” will be coming to Hallmark+ later this year.
