Hallmark star Bethany Joy Lenz is embracing her 45th birthday. The star of “Hope Valley: 1874” took to social media to share an inspirational message about how she’s approaching this big day, and fans thought it was incredible.
Bethany Joy Lenz Feels Great About Her Life Right Now
In an Instagram post shared by Lenz on April 2, the “Hope Valley: 1874” star gushed, “I’ve never been happier, more self-assured, at peace, and ready for whatever the good Lord wants to throw me into.”
Lenz continued, “I feel softer than ever, but strong—unbreakable, actually.” She added a diamond emoji at the end of the sentence to signal the unbreakable strength she’s feeling.
“Here’s to the years behind us and glorious surrender to the future,” Lenz added. She thanked everybody who was “on the ride with me from near or far.”
Many of Lenz’s colleagues commented on her Instagram post, wishing her a happy birthday and swooning over her confident message.
Kimberly J. Brown and Lacey Chabert wished her a happy birthday, as did former Hallmark stars Danica McKellar and Cindy Busby.
Sharon Lawrence wished Lenz a happy birthday, too, but took her response a step further. She called Lenz “dear one” and stated, “You wear the crown of your happiness with such grace and generosity. It’s a joy to see you shine.”
Lawrence starred in Hallmark’s “A Grand Ole Opry Christmas” that aired in 2025. In addition, years ago, Lawrence had a role on “One Tree Hill.”
Lenz, of course, was one of the core cast members of “One Tree Hill.” Lawrence played Sylvia Baker, the mother of Julian Baker. Julian and Brooke Davis, played by Sophia Bush, were engaged.
Additional birthday wishes from colleagues included a note from Lachlan Quarmby, who also stars on “Hope Valley: 1874,” as well as Mary Margaret Humes. As Hallmark fans may remember, Humes, like Lawrence, has both starred on Hallmark and had a role on “One Tree Hill.”
Humes gushed, “So well deserved my beautiful friend.”
Hallmark Fans Loved Lenz’s Joyful Message
The Hallmark star’s colleagues weren’t the only people eager to get in on the birthday celebration.
A fan of Lenz’s commented, “It makes me so happy to see everything you’ve achieved this past year. Wishing you all the best. Happy Birthday, Joy!!”
Another gushed, “Happy Birthday, Joy. It makes [my] heart happy to hear you’re doing so good. I hope you have a wonderful day just as special as you are.”
On Facebook, a fan who shares the same birthday commented, “I have enjoyed watching you grow in your faith publicly, no matter what others around you are getting into. You have aged well and maintained integrity and dignity and been a great example on your journey.”
That same fan continued, “It’s rare in your industry, and it is neat to see a star as a real person and it enhance their personality in a positive way. Stay unbreakable, but not unshakeable.”
Beautiful at 45! Love Love Beth Joy….Love your movies. I know you love the new show however, I hope that doesn’t mean you will not do any movies.. I do not watch time period shows and there are too many of them. so please please continue with movies.
