Brennan Elliott Responds to Hallmark Fans Worried He’s Leaving Network

Brennan Elliott inadvertently worried many of his Hallmark fans with a since-deleted, inspirational Instagram post on August 30, 2025. As Elliott, 50, wrote about leaving people behind who are “using you, your art, and your talents for their own benefit,” Hallmarkies flooded his post with comments, concerned he was trying to cryptically say he was done with making Hallmark movies.

However, in a follow-up comment on August 31, Elliott assured fans his musings had “nothing to do with” Hallmark or anything specific happening in his life.

Brennan Elliott Urged Fans to ‘Always KNOW Your Worth’

Elliott, who has starred in more than 20 Hallmark movies, has been absent from the network since starring with Lacey Chabert in September 2024’s “His and Hers,” spending the last year caring for his wife, Camilla Row, during her arduous battle with gastric cancer and adjusting to life as a single dad to 12-year-old son Liam and 10-year-old daughter Luna since Row’s death in March.

On August 30, Elliott posted a blurry selfie at the gym, in which he could be seen flexing his bicep in a mirror while standing next to weightlifting equipment. In the caption, he wrote, “Things might seem a bit out of focus right now, but clarity is coming very very soon!”

Elliott continued, “When you are working hard, creating art, and using your art to touch peoples lives-just BEING-remember that there are influences, in business and or otherwise, who are using you, your art,and your talents for their own benefit. And they are not at your level! You need to make the tough decision to MOVE ON- to find those who truly understand, who get it, and can nuture your talent and art.”

“It’s always difficult to trust YOURSELF, your work, and to take that step forward-but it MUST be done for GROWTH,” Elliott mused. “Don’t stay trusting in others of lesser quality because you feel safer and in control. Always KNOW your worth, your quality, and trust in YOU- your talent and your abilities.”

Elliott then concluded by sharing, “As a close mentor used to tell me when I was young studying in New York: ‘Be careful, because they will use your talent-since they don’t have the talent themselves’ wise words. Move to the beat of your own drum, be your true self, and associate with those who TRULY GET IT!”

Elliott deleted his motivational post on September 1, after many fans expressed concern that his musings meant he was leaving Hallmark. The “Crossword Mysteries” star had tried to assure them in the comments that he wasn’t sending any subliminal messages, simply trying to share a bit of wisdom from his life.

Many fans were also inspired by the post, including one he shared in his Instagram Stories that said, “@brennanelliott2: This is everything !!!!! Thank you !!!!!!”

Fans have been eager to find out when Elliott will return to Hallmark. On July 13, he shared on Instagram that he was “diving into a NEW role” and “soaking in every moment of the journey.”

When fans asked whether it was for Hallmark, Elliott replied to one that he hadn’t been on the network recently “cause they havnt offered me any new movies lately, but we will see what the future holds.”

Elliott is, however, scheduled as one of the featured stars at the Hallmark Christmas Experience in Kansas City, appearing during the second weekend, December 5 to 7. That’s a good indication that Elliott is still considered one of Hallmark’s leading men and will likely star in a new project for the network sooner than later.
