Brooke Shields just announced the premiere date for her upcoming television series, “You’re Killing Me,” and mystery fans are buzzing!
The former Hallmark actress, best known for her roles as Abby Knight in the “Flower Shop Mystery” films and Charlotte Thornton in “When Calls the Heart,” is no stranger to the mystery genre. Her newest series, however, seems to take her signature sleuthing to another level, raising the stakes beyond the cozy mysteries audiences have come to expect.
‘You’re Killing Me’ Will Be Premiering Later This Spring
“Hi, I am so thrilled to tell you that ‘You’re Killing Me’ premieres Monday, May 18th,” Shields said in her Instagram reel from April 6. “I am so excited for you to see this show.”
She continued, “We had so much fun filming. I’m in love with the cast and the crew.”
“The whole crew was amazing. We filmed in Nova Scotia. I loved it. I execute produced it, and it was so much fun. And I think you’re really gonna love this show,” she added.
“It is a mystery, but it’s pretty darn funny, I have to say,” Shields explained. “Love the comedy in it.”
“So, please stay tuned for more information, and I can’t wait for you to see ‘You’re Killing Me,'” she concluded.

What Is ‘You’re Killing Me’ About?
“You’re Killing Me” (the series’ former working title was Allie & Andi) is a six-part series set in “a quaint New England town,” and it follows “bestselling novelist, Allie (Brooke Shields), who forms an unlikely alliance with a podcaster to find the killer of a close friend,” according to the official synopsis on Acorn TV.
The series is created by Robin Bernheim, known for successes such as Hallmark’s “When Calls the Heart” and “Mystery 101” alongside best-selling author Lee Goldberg, according to AMC Networks.

Who Is in the Cast of ‘You’re Killing Me’?
Amalia Williamson (Sullivan’s Crossing) and actor and director Tom Cavanagh (The Flash, Ed) are set as series regulars opposite Shields, according to Deadline.
Williamson’s Andi, an aspiring writer and podcaster, is described to be “a sassy Girl Wonder who was once an up-and-coming celebrity, until she lost it all.” Cavanagh plays Jack Kerrigan, the new lead detective of the Founders Cove Police Department described as a “former city slicker who is trying to acclimate to the quirks of small-town life.”
