Mathison keeps fans updated on his life through social media. The “General Hospital” star did it again with a plane selfie and a big tease.
“Somewhere between packing bags and boarding this flight, it hit me— this is the first time I’ll have two Christmas movies coming out in the same season🎄 Grateful… and ready to get to work,” he wrote.
There’s no question that Mathison has become known for his holiday films over the years, appearing in many on Hallmark before exclusively signing with Great American Family. Fans flooded the comments section of Mathison’s social media post to gush over his news.

What Are Cameron Mathison’s 2026 Christmas Movies?
The soap star didn’t spill any details about his second Christmas movie, which is set to come out during the holiday season. Based on his social media share, he seemed to be on his way to film the movie.
However, Mathison’s first movie has already been revealed and filmed. The actor has once again teamed up with Bure to continue the “Home Sweet Christmas” franchise. A third installment for the franchise was filmed and will debut on Great American Family for the 2026 holiday season.
Bure and Mathison filmed “A Sweet Christmas Anniversary” earlier this year in Budapest. The movie follows Sophie and Sam as they celebrate their first wedding anniversary far from Waynesbridge in Budapest, which is why Mathison and Bure filmed there.
This will mark the third year in a row that Great American Family has aired a “Home Sweet Christmas” film, which began in 2024. In 2025, “Another Sweet Christmas” had a theatrical release before its network debut, and in 2026, “A Sweet Christmas Anniversary” will air on the network.
Love Cam (especially on GH) but can not watch Movies with Bure. Wish he would come back to Hallmark.
