Hallmark actress Lori Loughlin looked stunning at a recent charity event amid her controversial split from ex-husband Mossimo Giannulli.
On February 5, the “When Calls the Heart” star, 61, attended the star-studded grand opening of Project Angel Foods’ The Chuck Lorre Family Foundation Kitchen & Campus.
For the event, the actress kept things simple yet classy with a lacy white top and blue jeans. She matched it with a pair of brown leather heels.
Loughlin also wore her hair down and accessorized with a beaded necklace, silver bracelets, and a matching ring.
GettyThe Chuck Lorre Family Foundation Kitchen & Campus is a big project by Project Angel Food, which aims to produce more than 4.5 million meals annually.
The new kitchen, which now has three hot cook lines, can now accommodate feeding more than 10,000 people a year across Los Angeles County.
Other celebrities in attendance included Jamie Lee Curtis, Sandra Lee, Sharon Lawrence, and Judith Light.
Lori Loughlin ‘Extremely Angry’ With Ex-Husband: REPORT
GettyLoughlin’s latest outing comes just weeks after reports claimed she’s still very angry with her ex, Giannulli.
“Lori is still extremely angry with him,” a source told PEOPLE in January. Another source confirmed to the outlet that the two have lived “separate lives” since calling it quits in October.
Loughlin and Giannulli decided to part ways after nearly three decades of marriage. At the time, the actress’s representative told PEOPLE that the two are “taking a break from their marriage” and that “there are no legal proceedings at this time.”
The outlet also reported that Loughlin and Giannulli’s marriage never recovered from the strain of being embroiled in the College Admissions scandal.
“Things have never been the same after weathering the college admission fallout and the prison sentences together,” the source said. “[They’re] moving on with separate priorities.”
In May 2020, the couple pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud. Loughlin served two months in prison, while Giannulli served five months.
Loughlin Gets Support From Friends
GettyLoughlin has been getting a lot of support from her friends following her split from Giannulli. Her former “Full House” co-star John Stamos shared his thoughts about the breakup.
“She put up with a lot over the years of this guy,” the actor said on the “Good Guys” podcast. “She’s just devastated. For a girl who has lived her life really well, a good person, a good mother, a good wife — I know all this for a fact — to be thrown into now this separation and, you know, exploding, blowing up her family this way… I just hate to see her go through this. I really do.”
Loughlin and Giannulli first met in 1995 and eloped on November 27, 1997.
