Hunter King Surprised Fans by Announcing Her Valentine’s Day Wedding

In an Instagram post shared on March 6, King revealed that she and her now-husband, Chris Copier, got married in February. She shared a slew of photos from the event and both King’s Hallmark fans and colleagues went wild over the news.

King’s caption read, “Long ago, (on Valentine’s Day) we said I do in front of the realm (our families). We celebrated (at Medieval Times) well into the night (9pm). The end.”

Fellow Hallmark star Melissa Peterman gushed, “What!!!!! Congratulations!! So happy for you both!!! Huzzah!!! Mead for all!!!!”

Holly Robinson Peete added, “Main couple energy!”

Jaymes Vaughan, the husband of Hallmark star Jonathan Bennett, raved, “I LOVE Y’ALL! Congratulations!” To that comment, King replied, “Thank you boo!”

One Instagram follower of King’s declared, “How freaking ICONIC! Congratulations!”

King’s Entire Wedding Revolved Around a Medieval Theme

The bride and groom got fully into the spirit of the medieval times theme with their wedding ensembles.

King, 32, wore a light blue lace floor-length dress that had a deep V-neckline trimmed in white lace. She wore her hair with some tendrils swept back from her face and pinned in the back, and King went with flowers in her hair instead of wearing a veil.

Copier, a filmmaker, wore a medieval tunic, kilt, and leather coat. He also wore a brown scarf around his head.

The photos that King shared on Instagram looked casual and highlighted the laughter and love that seemed abundant during the festivities.

Wedding attendees dressed in medieval-inspired ensembles, as well. The gathering appeared to be quite small, with King and Copier surrounded by just their closest family members and friends.

According to People, the nuptials were held at Same Day Marriage, which is located in Studio City, California. The media outlet indicated that the newlyweds do plan to throw a bigger bash abroad over the upcoming summer.

After the ceremony, the bride, groom, and attendees dined at Broken Compass tiki bar before heading to Medieval Times.

Copier and King got engaged in October 2024. They first met in 2022, while working on the project “Give Me Your Eyes.” King starred in the project, and Copier served as an assistant director.
