Hallmark fan favorite Jen Lilley returns to the network after a four-year hiatus. The actress signed an exclusive deal with Great American Family in 2022, ending her time on Hallmark. However, she will be back on Hallmark in a little over a week in the new film “A Royal Setting”.
Jen Lilley Teases Return With Preview Video
On Saturday, March 28, Lilley will be back on Hallmark. The former “Days of Our Lives” star continues to get fans ready for her big return with social media teasers.
Her latest one is a trailer for “A Royal Setting”, which also stars “Good Witch” alum Dan Jeannotte as Prince Luca. Lilley plays Ruby, a renowned gemologist who Jeannotte’s Prince Luca hires to help restore some of his family’s crown jewels.
Ruby ends up creating a new crown design for Prince Luca, leading to sparks flying between the two. It also puts Ruby directly in the Queen’s line of fire, causing major conflict in her personal and professional life.
“I feel like the luckiest lass in the land that I got to bring Ruby Robinson to life! 👑 Catch A Royal Setting on Hallmark Channel Saturday, March 28 at 8pm, next day on Hallmark+! 🏰✨,” Lilley wrote as her caption on her Instagram post.
Fans can’t wait for Lilley’s new movie and her long-awaited Hallmark return. They let her know just that in the comments of her social media share, too.
“Beautiful. Love you!l and can’t wait to watch! 💖,” stated a fan. Another one chimed in to add, “Can’t wait for this royal rom-com! I’m so ready to Spring into Love with this lovely movie! 👑🌸✨.”
One fan expressed, “Oooohhhh can’t WAIT to see this one Jen!” “Can’t wait for this. @jen_lilley is such a good actress,” insisted a different fan.
Fans won’t have to wait much longer because “A Royal Setting” premieres on Hallmark on Saturday, March 28, at 8/7c and drops the next day on Hallmark+.
‘A Royal Setting’ Sneak Peek
Hallmark has also released a sneak peek of Lilley’s upcoming film, “A Royal Setting”. In the preview video, Ruby finds Prince Luca on a balcony at night, staring out over the city.
Ruby learns it’s his favorite spot before they enjoy a glass of wine in a beautifully romantic setting. Prince Luca pulls out all the stops to give Ruby the fairytale he feels she deserves.
The sneak peek isn’t very long, but it certainly grabs fans’ attention.
