Hallmark has brought fan favorite Jen Lilley back for a new movie, which debuts on March 28. Lilley stars with “Paris, Wine & Romance” alum Dan Jeannotte, and the network recently released its first sneak peeks at the upcoming film titled “A Royal Setting.”
Jen Lilley Plays the Role of Ruby in ‘A Royal Setting’
On February 17, Lilley shared a look at the official poster for “A Royal Setting” on her Instagram page. In the caption, she teased, “By Royal Invitation… You are formally invited to the premiere of A Royal Setting. March 28 on Hallmark Channel. Save the date. The crown awaits.”
Hallmark reveals that in the plot of “A Royal Setting,” “Ruby, a world-renowned gemologist, is hired by Prince Luca to restore the crown jewels and design his crown.”
However, the synopsis for “A Royal Setting” continues, “This challenges tradition and complicates his relationship with his mother, the queen.”
Hallmark Fans Are Excited to See Lilley Back
HallmarkLilley and Jeannotte co-starred together in “Paris, Wine & Romance,” which debuted almost seven years ago.
Jeannotte has also starred in a couple of relatively recent Hallmark movies, such as “Falling in Love in Niagara” and “Sense & Sensibility.”
Lilley had starred in numerous Hallmark projects before leaving for Great American Family in 2022. The deal she signed with the Hallmark competitor was for four original movies over the course of two years. Her first movie for Great American Family was “Royally Wrapped for Christmas,” which kicked off the network’s Christmas genre.
Now that her deal with Great American Family has ended, Lilley has reconnected with Hallmark. Fans seem eager to have her back.
HallmarkHallmark fans flooded the comment section of Lilley’s Instagram post where she shared the peek at “A Royal Setting.” Many fans left red heart emojis or other icons symbolizing their adoration for her and her upcoming movie.
One fan gushed, “So excited!! Love you on both Hallmark and GAC!”
Another commented, “Can’t wait!! I love seeing you on tv!! One of my favorite actresses.”
Someone else raved, “Can’t wait! This already looks like such a sweet movie! Loving this poster!”

Fans reacted similarly on Lilley’s Facebook post about the upcoming movie.
