Kimberly Williams-Paisley is playfully teasing her husband Brad Paisley over what she sees as a hilarious double standard.
In a new video shared on social media, the Hallmark actress jokingly called out the country music star by showing off his collection of nearly identical running shoes in response to a question he posed about her shopping habits.

“Here’s a friendly reminder that husbands who own several identical black running shoes don’t get to say ‘don’t you already have a few of those?’ 🤭” Kimberly wrote in the caption of her Instagram reel.
In the reel, the caption, “When my husband says ‘don’t you have something like that?” is written over a clip of Kimberly sitting on the floor of what appears to be a closet, while she holds up multiple pairs of men’s running shoes in the same color to emphasize the point that her husband is being just a tad bit hypocritical.
Many fans in the comment section came to Kimberly’s defense, some even using their own examples.
“Same! He has 3 pairs of yellow sneakers… why??”
“My boyfriend is the same exact way. Ten plus pairs of black workout shoes and he gets on me for having different styles of heels in the same color.”
“Yes, this! You would think they could understand why we can never have too many jeans or black pants or black dresses!🤭”
Other fans continued to jokingly call out the country music singer.

Kimberly Reveals the Secret to Her Marriage of 23 Years
Getty“Don’t leave” are the two words that Kimberly shared were the secret to her marriage to Brad.
She explained in a recent interview with Fox News, “I heard Jamie Lee Curtis say recently, the secret is ‘Don’t leave.’ I thought that was really, actually brilliant.”
She continued, “Yeah, just know there’s gonna be ups and downs and don’t give up. That was our secret.”
“We find time, we have to be deliberate about it,” Kimberly added. “And I mean, we’re married 23 years now.”
She explained that there are times were the pair are “busier and times when we’re not,” and with Brad about to go on tour this summer, they’re in one of those times where they’re busier. “But when we have the downtime, we really make the most of it,” she said.
Although Kimberly and Brad didn’t meet until 2001, their love story began in 1991 after the “Whiskey Lullaby” singer saw Kimberly play Annie Banks in “Father of the Bride” and became smitten with her, according to PEOPLE.
Kimberly recalled how Brad saw the film “a bunch of times” with the girl he was dating at the time back in 1991. “It was, like, their movie,” she said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly from May 2025. “And then he moved to Nashville, and she broke his heart.”
Brad later asked Kimberly to star in the music video for his 2002 hit single, “I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin’ Song).”
“He [Brad] woke up with this idea, like, ‘Oh, I should call that girl who was in ‘Father of the Bride,’ and that’s the story he goes with, but I’m like, maybe he was stalking me somehow?” Kimberly recalled in her Entertainment Weekly interview.
Coincidentally, she had just told her agents that she was interested in doing a music video. “I wasn’t expecting a country music video, but he [Brad] literally called a few days later and I was like, ‘Yeah, that sounds fun,’” Kimberly said.
The pair started dating soon after.
They got engaged in 2002 and tied the knot in March 2003. Kimberly and Brad have two sons together: William “Huck” Huckleberry Paisley, who was born in 2007, and Jasper Warren Paisley, who was born in 2009.
