Lacey Chabert Reveals Her Dream Guest for Her Hallmark Series

As the Hallmark Channel‘s “Celebrations With Lacey Chabert” begins its second season, star Lacey Chabert reveals the former co-star she’d love to have on the show. “Someone that pops into my head right away is Jennifer Love Hewitt,” she told Good Housekeeping.

“I love her so much, and I know she loves throwing parties and celebrating as well,” Chabert said of her “Party of Five” co-star. “She has a heart of gold, so, she’s someone who, if we ever had the chance, would be great.”

“Party of Five” premiered in 1994, with Chabert starring as Claudia Salinger at just 11 years old. Hewitt joined the show during its second season in 1995, and the two actors became close during the series’ 6 seasons.

Lacey Chabert Wants to Reunite With Other Former Co-Stars

Chabert, 42, has a lot of love for her other “Party of Five” co-stars as well, and would love to have a mini-reunion on “Celebrations With Lacey Chabert.” “I mean, anyone from ‘Party of Five’—Neve (Campbell) and Scott (Wolf)—they’re all just so dear to my heart,” the actor shared.

There’s a special place in Chabert’s heart for Wolf, who played her older brother Bailey on the ’90s series. The two had the chance to work together again in 2023. “I love that at Hallmark, Scott and I had the chance to make ‘A Merry Scottish Christmas’ a couple of years ago,” she said. “That was really fun, because the center of that movie was about a brother-sister relationship.”

Chabert continued, “I also love a reunion! So, whenever I have the chance to reunite with people, it’s just so meaningful.”

Chabert Loves to Stay Connected

Season 2 of “Celebrations With Lacey Chabert” premiered on September 15, and the new episodes promise to have an emotional impact. That was the case for its star anyway, as Chabert told Soaps that she “cried at every single episode.”

But of course Chabert will be bringing the fun as well. “There’s also a lot of laughs in this season, [and] the party planning, we kicked it up a notch,” she explained.

The feel-good vibe of the show is what would make it the perfect opportunity for Chabert to share the screen again with her old pals and co-stars. “[Having any guest star] has to tie it back to that same feeling of just wanting to feel connected to one another,” she told Good Houskeeping. “That’s at the core what Hallmark does so well.”
