“General Hospital” star and Hallmark alum Ryan Paevey is tapping into childhood nostalgia with his longtime fascination with critters.
The soap star, 41, took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse of his “epic adventure” in Barbados, where he enjoyed moments that brought back childhood memories.
“I like critters. Like, all of them,” Paevey captioned the post. “No need to say ‘eww’…they probably think you’re gross too, but who knows, haha. Anyways, if you ever wanna see me magically turn back into an 8-year-old, find a caterpillar or a bug or a cool fish. OR A DOG.”
Ryan Paevey Loves Bugs
GettyThe video started with the Hallmark favorite reiterating his obsession with bugs. “So, if you didn’t already know, I go crazy for critters,” Paevey said.
He then showed some of the critters he encountered during the adventure, some of which he doesn’t normally get to see back at home.
“Everywhere I go, my head’s in a swivel,” Paevey added. “Caterpillars, bugs in general. I get a lot of ‘ewww’ in the comment section.”
Aside from bugs, Paevey is also into aquatic animals. In the same clip, the actor admitted he’s always on the lookout for something in the water.
“If we’re in the ocean, I’m always looking for something,” Paevey shared. “We get dolphins. We have ‘stabby pancakes.’ We have leopard sharks. Got to say ‘good night, mates’ to the pelicans every time they come by. I’m always looking for something.”
