Star of Hallmark’s ‘The Way Home’ Announces Engagement to Classical Singer

Weeks after taking a final leap into “The Way Home” pond, Hallmark Channel star Sadie Laflamme-Snow has a new reason to jump for joy. On August 30, 2026, the actress revealed via social media that she’s engaged to her longtime beau, Cameron Martin.

Laflamme-Snow, 26, playfully showed off her dazzling diamond ring in several social media photos of her and Martin at a pizza joint, captioning the pics with an engagement ring emoji but no details about his proposal. Fans and friends quickly flooded her post with comments, thrilled for her good news.

Who is Sadie Laflamme-Snow’s Fiancé, Cameron Martin?

In Laflamme-Snow’s Instagram Stories, she shared one of the photos of her new fiancé with his arm wrapped around. Above the pic, she wrote, “high school sweethearts 4ever.”

The actress, whose role as Alice in “The Way Home” came to end with June’s series finale after four seasons, has not shared much about her romance with Martin. But she has occasionally shared pics of them together, including beautiful images of them relaxing on Vancouver Island in 2023 and a trip to Costa Rica in the summer of 2025.

According to Martin’s LinkedIn profile, he is a classical singer and works as a development associate at the University of Toronto, involved in securing donations and coordinating fundraising initiatives. As a trained opera singer, he won the 2018 Vocal Competition held by the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Assocation.

Laflamme tweeted that she “turned my living room into a recording studio for 13 hrs so we could DIY that for y’all.”

Although more than 33,000 fans have signed a petition to bring “The Way Home” back for another season via Hallmark or a streamer like Netflix, there have been no announcements on the show continuing.
