‘American Pie’ Beauty Shannon Elizabeth Shares Adorable Throwback Photos With Hallmark Hunk

Gorgeous actress, activist, and poker player Shannon Elizabeth is arguably known best for her role as Nadia in the iconic “American Pie” movie franchise, starting with the original 1999 film.

Beyond that, people may know her as something of a scream queen, having starred in horror films like 2001’s “Thirteen Ghosts,” 2005’s “Cursed,” 2009’s “Night of the Demons,” and the “Scary Movie” franchise.

However, she has also starred in a Hallmark movie. The film in question was the 2013 festive offering “Catch a Christmas Star.”

Per IMDb, the television film’s plot is as follows: “With the help of his two precocious kids, a widower reconnects with his high school sweetheart, who just happens to be one of the biggest pop stars on the planet.”

The widower mentioned in the synopsis is played by Hallmark hunk Steve Byers (who is also known for his many Lifetime movie appearances). Byers has appeared in four Hallmark productions. As well as “Catch a Christmas Star,” they are 2017’s movie “The Christmas Cure,” 2018’s Halloween television special “Good Witch: Tale of Two Hearts,” and 2024’s movie “Love on the Right Course.”

Elizabeth recently took to social media to share some adorable photographs of herself alongside Byers on the “Catch a Christmas Star” set.

Specifically, her post includes a carousel of six pictures of herself and Byers sitting on a wooden bench together next to a suburban playground. They’re both wearing high school sporting uniforms for their roles in the film (Byers appears to be wearing a baseball kit, while Elizabeth is wearing a cheerleader outfit).

Elizabeth’s caption on her post begins, “Just a little throw-back to when I filmed Catch A Christmas Star with @thestevebyers. I just ran across a bunch of these behind the scenes shots of one of our photoshoots for the film.”

Debbie Gibson’s 2022 festive hit “Christmas Star” appropriately plays over the post.
