Cal & Maggie’s Future is Shaken Up in the ‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ Season 4 Premiere

The wait for “Sullivan’s Crossing” Season 4 is almost over. Season 3 left fans with the cliffhanger that Maggie (Morgan Kohan) has a husband, Liam (Marucs Rosner). Cal (Chad Michael Murray) and Maggie’s happiness is put in jeopardy as she becomes caught between the past and the present.

‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ Season 4 Premiere

In a People magazine sneak peek at the Season 4 premiere of the hit The CW show, Maggie is lying in bed with Liam, having a very personal, intimate moment. Maggie admits she never thought she would see Liam again.

“And I’m so sorry. If I could change what happened, I would,” he responds, only to have her reveal she’s moved on with Cal. Liam pleads for another chance before a flip of the scene reveals it was all just a dream.

Maggie wakes up in bed to Cal bringing her coffee, and he comments that it seems she had a pretty good dream. Little does he know she was dreaming about her husband.

Cal and Maggie have an awkward exchange that confirms Sully (Scott Patterson) has left and that she is feeling overwhelmed by Sully not being there. Never one to beat around the bush, Cal mentions her husband, whom he didn’t know about, showing up out of the blue.

When Maggie tries explaining herself, Cal responds, “I just thought you’d mention being married before.”

There’s a clear tension between Maggie and Cal that reveals the dynamic of their relationship has changed. A synopsis for the premiere episode titled “Curveballs” reads: “As Maggie (Morgan Kohan) digs into the reasons for her ex-husband Liam’s (Marcus Rosner) return, Cal (Chad Michael Murray) finds himself struggling with feelings of jealousy as tensions at the Crossing rise.”
