“Sullivan’s Crossing” has undergone some serious changes for Season 4, including the addition of Marucs Rosner. Chad Michael Murray (Cal) and Morgan Kohan (Maggie) have spoken out on the Hallmark hunk joining the hit drama.
Morgan Kohan and Chad Michael Murray Gush Over New Co-Star Marcus Rosner
In an interview with Yahoo Canada to promote “Sullivan’s Crossing” Season 4, Murray and Kohan had no problem talking about their new co-star. Rosner plays Liam, who is still married to Maggie and made his debut at the end of Season 3.
Despite the on-screen tension between Cal, Liam, and Maggie, off-screen, Kohan and Murray have nothing but love for Rosner.
“Marcus Rosner is such a sweet, wonderful, kind, magical human being, so having him involved in the show has just been wonderful. So I’m really excited for the audience to fall in love with him too, and kind of get very confused, up in a tizzy,” Kohan expressed to the outlet.
Season 4 of “Sullivan’s Crossing” features a lot of male testosterone as Liam and Cal fight for Maggie’s heart. Murray admitted that the entire situation with Liam is uncomfortable for Cal, especially with the Hallmark hunk in the role.
“It’s freaking Marcus Rosner, and you’re like, look at that jaw. Look at those muscles!” Murray expressed.
Kohan and Murray want fans to know this love triangle is not a usual one. There’s a lot more to this story, and they hope “Sullivan’s Crossing” fans enjoy the ride.
Rosner previously expressed concern about joining the show as the force that comes between a fan-favorite couple, but after meeting the cast, his mind was put at ease.
‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ Season 4 Cast Changes
The biggest change to the drama based on Robyn Carr’s books is the exit of OG cast member Scott Patterson, who shed light on what really led him to step away from the role of Sully. Patterson has moved on to the next chapter of his life, sharing big news with fans regarding what he’s doing now.
Not having Sully around will be a big change, and Rosner won’t be the only one filling that void. Actor Jonathan Silverman has a multi-arc stint as a grumpy and unhappy camper named Quincy Carlson, staying at The Crossing.”
Fuad Ahmed joins the show as Amir Malik. a young Michelin-star chef friend of Rob’s (Reid Price). Amir stirs up drama between siblings Rob and Sydney (Lindura). Colby Frost plays Ben Nelson, a worker at Lola’s (Amalia Williamson) youth camp who has family issues and is protective of his younger sister, Tracy (Emerson MacNeil).
The show also stars Andrea Menard (Edna), Tom Jackson (Frank), and Dakota Taylor (Rafe). “Sullivan’s Crossing” Season 4 premieres on The CW on Monday, April 20.
