Tamera Mowry-Housley is keeping it real when it comes to the internet’s latest celebrity crush: her little brother, Tahj Mowry.
While fans may be swooning over the former child star’s glow-up and gym selfies, Tamera’s reaction as an older sister is all too relatable. But it’s her wholesome bond with her brother that really captured fans’ hearts. While the Hallmark actress couldn’t be more proud of Tahj and his health journey, she also had a hilarious reminder for everyone thirsting over his shirtless selfies: she’s still the big sister who used to change his diapers.
Tamera Gushes Over Her Close Relationship With ‘Baby Brother’ Tahj
Tamera gasps in surprise when she’s shown a shirtless photo of Tahj during a recent appearance on Entertainment Tonight.
“He went from ‘Smart Guy’ to the hot guy,” comments host Deidre Behar Wellman.
“You know…” Tamera begins, unsure of how to react, and Deidre interjects, “People are thirsting for this gentleman all over the internet.”
Tamera scoffs, holding her hands up. “That’s weird,” the older sister admits before letting out a laugh. “That’s my baby brother. I changed his diapers. He’s gonna hate that I said that.”
“Well, he’s the middle one. Not the younger one. The younger one is hot, too,” Tamera says.
Deidre agrees, “yes.”
“What I love is, I saw him when he made up his mind, and he was like, ‘You know what? I want to start working out. I’m gonna start eating healthy.’ And he’s inspired me,” Tamera explains. “Tahj and I, like, he literally is, like, the male version of me. We are, like…” Tamera holds up two crossed fingers to emphasize how close she is to her brother.
“Thick as thieves?” asks Deidre.
“That is…That is my boo,” says Tamera. “I love that young man so much. My kids love him so much that whenever he’s around, I actually, I can maybe go to the spa.”
“Uncle Tahj has got it,” Deidre observes, which Tamera agrees with, replying, “That’s literally it. And he’s awesome.”

Tamera Shares a Close Bond With Her Whole Family
This isn’t the first time fans have commented on the tight-knit bond the Mowry family shares.
In a sweet post Tamera shared on social media for Mother’s Day, the first photo included is one of her mom surrounded by her and her siblings. “Momma, I love you,” Tamera wrote in the caption of her May 10 Instagram post. “What a joy it has been to know you as a momma but now know you as friend. Your tough love, spiritual guidance and wisdom has gotten me through some of the toughest times in life. I’m so blessed to be your daughter. Happy Mother’s Day 💐💕”
“I know mom is thinking “they’re all adults now and I still can’t get them to take 1 good picture” 😂😂❤️” one fan joked.
This familial bond is especially evident in the relationship she shares with her twin sister, Tia.
To celebrate national twin day, Tamera called Tia her “built in best friend” and “my other half for life” in a December 2025 Instagram post.
