Although you previously had to be a Hallmark+ subscriber to begin watching “Paris Is Always a Good Idea,” that’s changed thanks to the fact that the streaming service has popped the first episode up on their YouTube channel. That means it’s totally free to watch, and you can do that right now. Just click play on the video above!
After a preview of the overall story, it kicks into the action, which focuses on Chelsea Martin (Chabert), a busy career-driven woman who works at a charitable organization that’s in the middle of landing a major donation. Because of this, she’s sent to Paris to secure an important deal. However, the location brings up a lot of difficult feelings for Chelsea for a reason that’s explained in the first episode — if emotional stories get to you, then prepare yourself for some potential tears!
The beginning of the story also introduces viewers to Jason Knightly (Scott Michael Foster), who is Chelsea’s coworker and probably the person she likes least in her life. On top of that, we gets glimpses at Colin (Stephen Hagan), Sebastian (Julien Samani) and Marcos (Alejandro Albarracín), but to find out who they are, you’ll definitley have to watch the first episode.
You’ll also have to watch the entire episode to see the final moment that gives away a major clue as to what’s been happening and what viewers are going to be seeing as the story unfolds.

Where Does the Story Go from There?
HallmarkAfter you’ve watched the first episosde of “Paris Is Always a Good Idea” above, then you’ll surely be interested to find out what comes next. Well, the series will offer fans five additional episodes (six in total), and will see Chelsea traveling to various locations while delving into her past romances and aiming to find the men she left behind.
Following the first episode, which premiered on July 30, the second was released the same day and is titled “Colin, Revisited,” which gives potential viewers a good hint at what it involves. Beyond that, Hallmark explains that “Chelsea begins her journey to reconnect to her past, and to find Colin, a sheep farmer in Ireland.”
Next, comes “Sebastian, Revisited,” which premiered on August 6, and, as Hallmark notes, sees “Chelsea and Knightly team up and get back to work in Paris. Meanwhile, French photographer Sebastian re-enters Chelsea’s life.” During the next episode, called “Knightly,” things take a bit of an unexpected turn when Chelsea and her previously (highly) disliked coworked “are surprised to find themselves growing closer during their time together in Paris, as their big donor meeting finally approaches.”
The story then returns to Chelsea’s journey when she’s “[e]ncouraged by Knightly to seek out answers to the last few lingering questions about her past loves,” according to Hallmark. This prompts her to travel to Spain, where she heads to Marcos’ vineyard, in the episode which premiered on August 20, deemed “Marcos, Revisited.”
The final and sixth episode will premiere on Thursday, August 27, on Hallmark+, which means now is the perfect time to start the series so you can catch up before the story wraps up.
