It’s been many months since HGTV star Alison Victoria began filming her new series, “Sin City Rehab,” but time has clearly not healed the rift between her and the contractor she clashed with in the first two episodes of the season.
On October 22, 2025, Victoria told People, “When someone shows you who they are, believe them. And I believe Jeff is just an [expletive]. Sorry, I don’t know how to sugarcoat that.”
Alison Victoria Confronted Contractor Over Dissing Her Designs With Client
After leaving Chicago and her “Windy City Rehab” series behind, Victoria now lives and works in Las Vegas, where she’s filming “Sin City Rehab.” The new series chronicles her first projects there as she establishes her business and tries working with potential new partners.
One of them was a general contractor named Jeff Lewis, who was hired by her clients, Jeremy and Deborah, on their home remodel. When Lewis told Jeremy that he didn’t like Victoria’s style, that ruffled the HGTV star’s feathers and she eventually confronted him, with cameras rolling.
“You [told] Jeremy that my designs look like [expletive],” she told him over coffee. “I’ve had people say to me that I’m very direct. I’ve had people say to me that I’m very aggressive.”
“I would agree with that,” he replied, to which Victoria said, “I’m the boss of my business. I know what I’m doing and I’ve worked really, really long and hard to get to this place in my life and career, just like you.”
When Victoria told Lewis that complaining about her designs was “not playing nice,” he laughed and said, “Not everybody’s gonna like your designs.”
“I’ve never had anybody not like my designs,” Victoria countered, and he said, “That’s fine, we don’t like it,” and added that he would refuse to take a wall down that she wanted removed.
Eventually, Lewis told her, “I think this relationship is not gonna work out. So I’m prepared to tell you I don’t want to work with you.”
‘I Don’t Let Anyone Walk All Over Me,’ Alison Victoria Says
HGTVLewis runs a luxury renovation company in Las Vegas that has its own design services, and received a 2025 Best of Houzz Design Award in February.
Victoria and her clients moved on to work with other contractors, and she told People, “There’s no forgiving him. But I’m certainly not somebody who’s gonna try to hold a grudge.”
As for being deemed “direct” and “agressive,” Victoria noted, “I’ve always been that way. I’ve always stood up for myself. I’ve always said what I believe and I’ve always protected those I care about, which include my clients, because my clients become friends and family. I don’t let anyone walk all over me and I think that you are seeing that here.”
Alison Victoria Also Had Issues With a Previous Contractor & Business Partner on ‘Windy City Rehab’
GettyThis is not the first time Victoria has run into issues with general contractors. While filming “Windy City Rehab,” Victoria wound up having many issues with her business partner and co-star Donovan Eckhardt that compromised her business, she told People.
Ekhardt left the series in 2019 when Victoria accused him of mishandling company finances. He had his general contractor and developer licenses pulled by the City of Chicago for violations, per People, and they faced multiple lawsuits from clients. He later filed a $2.2 million defamation lawsuit against Victoria, but a Chicago judge dismissed the suit, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
“Sin City Rehab” airs Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. Eastern time.

The contractor just didn’t like her, but he lied to his clients by saying what they asked for could not be done, and when Allison pushed for it, he gave an outrageous cost, which was beyond the couple’s ability to pay. The new contractor had no issue with the request and was able to accomplish it for a fraction of the amount the first contractor had said. He just didn’t want to do it!!! Allison fought for her clients…
Yes! He was not a nice man, for sure.
She seems to have problems with contractors. Moving to Vegas just seems like a marketing scheme to get attention.
Agree HGTV needs to get rid of her she is not nice and causes problems. She is on too many shows does she have something over HGTV…….
Exactly
Hair extensions along with low cut t-shirts and blouses.
She wants to be discovered.
And her designs are always the same.
I’m tired of her
Exactly. She always looks like she’s been walking the streets and yes, designs are always the same.
So over her !
Man face has drama with everyone. She got sued in Chicago for doing crappy work so she fled to another state.
She didn’t do crappy work the contractor did and she worked in Chicago for quite awhile before she moved to Vegas. She made things right with the people who sued them. Donovan had his licenses pulled by the City of Chicago. And he took money from their joint business account and put the money into his other business accounts.
So agree!!!!
Allison is the designer. The work is being done by the contractor. She depends on them to do quality work. She has to stand up for herself. She knows her worth, and is an excellent designer. If Bozo above had done their homework they would have known the case was dismissed against her. People kill me always criticizing others knowing they themselves can’t do anything, but always have something negative to say about others.
I don’t like her aggressive attitude. I can’t stand the constant bleeping out of her cuss words. She uses the “f bomb” way too much for my liking. Her new boob job is flaunted. N her designs are beautiful but I told my husband last night he’ll have to watch on the treadmill… we usually watch in bed but I’m done with her and her show!
She’s a nasty woman. I will never watch any of her shows. She needs to go. Keep Bargain Block and get rid of her!
AMO O TRABALHO DA ALLISON TEM UM OLHAR REFINADO NO DESIGNSER E AINDA TEM QUE SER FORTE POR SER MULHER E SE IMPOR NO SEU TRABALHO MARAVILHOSO E UNICO.
Allison is a talented designer and needs to start dressing and acting like a professional, not a teenager. It is beneath her and her profession.
