Alison Victoria Pens Heartbreaking Tribute to Beloved Family Member: ‘You Were My First Best Friend’

HGTV‘s Alison Victoria is grieving the loss of her dear grandmother in a touching tribute. See what the “Sin City Rehab” star said about her “first best friend” and the supportive words from her HGTV family and fans.

Alison Victoria Shares Sweet Tribute to Her Late Grandmother

On November 18, Victoria took to Instagram to share a series of photos and video of her grandmother as she paid tribute to her “yiayiamoo.”

“My sweet Yiayiamoo. You were my first best friend and my safest place in this world,” Victoria wrote in the caption.

She continued, “Being with you always felt like home and every meal you made, every old movie we watched, every arm tickle and ‘I love you’ is a part of me now.”

The HGTV star noted, “Up until your very last breath you were the strongest woman I’ve ever known and I promise to always and forever keep your memory alive.”

“Forever your Kouklamou,” Victoria added. “I love you eternally.”

In a July 4, 2024 Instagram post, the HGTV star shared the secret to a long life her grandmother told her years ago.

“Maybe it’s me … maybe it’s olive oil,” she wrote in the caption. “I’ve been doing spoonful a day since my Yiayia told me to when I was 13.  Said it would keep me young forever. She’s 94 and still one hot mama so she’s definitely on to something.”
