Egypt Sherrod says she wishes she could freeze time — or at least slow it down — as her kids are growing up fast. The former HGTV star shared a rare photo of her daughter Kendall, with a message about motherhood that many fans related to.
Egypt Sherrod Reflects on Motherhood in Emotional Post
On November 24, Sherrod took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of her daughter Kendall.
“My beautiful baby Kendall is growing up, and sometimes I wish I could freeze time, just long enough to soak in those sweet moments again. Do you ever feel that way?” she wrote in the caption.
Sherrod added, “I know she has to spread her wings, but part of me just wants to hold her in her tiny onesie and breathe in that baby smell one more time. Motherhood is a tender dance between holding on and letting go, and my heart feels every step.”
On September 19, 2024, she posted about “feeling mommy blues.”
“Where does the time go? Am I doing enough? Do they know how much I love them? How did I get so blessed to be their momma? Are they eating their veggies and drinking enough water when I’m away? Omg … my heart,” she wrote.
“GOD please let them grow up healthy and strong,” the former HGTV star continued. “But I don’t want them to grow up. I want them to stay my little babies forever. Anyone else feel this way?”
