Tarek and Heather El Moussa have been highly praised for their successful co-parenting relationship with Tarek’s first wife, Christina Haack. But the El Moussas have so much more than a happy family dynamic; they also have a successful marriage.
Working with a spouse can be quite challenging, but Heather recently opened up about how she realized Tarek was truly the one for her.
Heather El Moussa Shares How Tarek Makes Her Feel Loved
Tarek and Heather El Moussa love entertaining their fans onscreen and online. But they’ve also put in a lot of time and energy to make their marriage work.
“Ladies, if he’s not working hard to be romantic and loving and kind and putting in effort in the beginning… it’s going to get worse. 👀” Heather shared in a recent Instagram post.
“I wish someone had told me this sooner,” the HGTV star wrote over the video as she spoke about her relationship with her husband. She begins by acknowledging that she and Tarek have their share of problems. However, he goes above and beyond to make her feel loved and appreciated every day of their marriage.
On their first date, Heather says Tarek was incredibly nervous and vulnerable, which she found adorable. On their second date, he bought her a pair of Valentino heels. After that, he took her to Hawaii. But it was the intent behind the gestures that won Heather over.
“It doesn’t have to be these big, big gestures,” she continued. “Like a random Tuesday, I’ll get like a beautiful thing of flowers. And it’s just unexpected, it’s not like something happened and he sent me flowers. It was just, ‘I’m thinking of you. I love you. You’re an amazing mom.’ It’s so sweet and it makes me smile. He still does those things after seven years together.”
“Men will do anything if they want you,” the “Selling Sunset” alum continued. “They will make it work. And if they’re not putting in that effort, they’re not gonna put that effort in the long-term of your relationship. If they’re not working hard to be romantic and loving and kind and putting in effort in the beginning, it’s going to get worse. Relationships get harder.”
The HGTV Star Received Support From Followers
Heather El Moussa’s Instagram post received plenty of support. Christina Haack even agreed with Heather’s video.
“Facts 100%” the mother of three wrote.
“True definition of If a man wanted to, he would. So blessed to have found this too!!! Truly hard to find,” another fan agreed.
