Home renovators and HGTV superstars Heather El Moussa and Christina Haack are more than just co-parents. They’re also best friends.
Many of their adventures so far have featured their children in one way or another. Heather is stepmother to Christina’s oldest two children, Taylor, 15, and Brayden, 10. But in a new video, the women admitted they enjoy spending time with just the adults too.

Christina Haack & Heather El Moussa Hold Hands in Playful Double Date Video
Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa were married from 2008-2018. Heather Rae Young married Tarek in 2021. Shared children meant their paths crossed quite often. Thankfully for everyone involved, the women seemed to hit it off immediately.
Today, Christina is dating Christopher Larocca. He keeps a quieter online presence than Christina, but he seems eager to join in on the adventures. In a recent social media post, the women revealed they were having a blast on a double date.
“Proof we can co-parent and co-party. 🥂” Heather shared with her Instagram audience.
“Coparenting so hard, we left the kids at home for a double date,” the “Selling Sunset” alum wrote over the video. In the footage, she and Christina Haack strut toward the camera, hand in hand.
Fans praised the women in the comments, noting it took a lot of personal growth to build such a strong relationship.
“I adore you two! If everyone would co-parent like y’all, there would be much happier families, better grounded children. There’s enough love for bonus parents and your ‘family’ is amazing!! God bless y’all 🙏” one fan wrote in the comments.
Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time the HGTV stars went on a double date. Last summer, Tarek posted a photo of the two couples at dinner. He playfully captioned the photo, “The girls made us….. 👯♀️”
Are the HGTV Icons Teaming Up in “The Flip Off” Season 2?
HGTV fans love seeing Christina Haack and Heather El Moussa on such friendly terms. However, many would love to see them take it a step further and be partners on “The Flip Off” season 2.
Season 1 saw Tarek and Heather triumph over Christina. Although she lost her team member, Josh Hall, pretty early on in the competition, the El Moussas rallied around Christina during her difficult chapter.
Now, “The Flip Off” cast is in the middle of filming the show’s sophomore season. There are still many unknowns about the new episodes, but many fans have made it clear they want to see Christina and Heather on the same team.
HGTV will likely air “The Flip Off” season 2 later in 2026.
