Having a blended family isn’t always easy, especially for high-profile families. But HGTV stars Heather El Moussa and Christina Haack seem to have it all figured out.
Fans have loved watching Heather become an excellent stepmother to Christina’s children. Even beyond raising kids together, the women seem to have formed an unbreakable bond. Their real-life chemistry transfers well to their competition show, “The Flip Off.”
Recently, the HGTV stars decided to take a break from filming and take their sons out for a special day.
Christina Haack & Heather El Moussa Join Forces for an Outing
Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack share two children: Taylor, 15, and Brayden, 10. Since then, Christina has welcomed another son, six-year-old Hudson, with her ex-husband, Ant Anstead. Tarek and Heather also had another son, three-year-old Tristan.
But in spite of everything, the adults want everyone to know that they’re just one big happy family. They often post photos of large family gatherings, with all the children in attendance. Recently, Christina and Heather teamed up to take the younger boys for a fun day out at Legoland California.
“Nothing weird about it to us, it’s just family. 🧡” Heather captioned an Instagram video, tagging Christina.
“These boys don’t even know they’re supposed to find this weird,” the former “Selling Sunset” star wrote over the video as the little boys played together and enjoyed the park.
“Best day! ❤️” Christina added in the comments, echoing Heather’s sentiments.
In the comments, fans praised the women for being great role models for the children. Hudson and Tristan might not be biologically related, but they share their older siblings. Viewers loved knowing that Hudson and Tristan are growing up together as well.

Heather El Moussa Supported Her “The Flip Off” Co-Star During Her Divorce
Christina Haack and Heather El Moussa grew incredibly close while filming “The Flip Off” for HGTV. During the show’s freshman season, Christina went through a very public split with her third husband, Josh Hall.
Despite being on opposing teams, Heather and Tarek offered Christina nothing but love and support. Tarek noted that it was incredibly difficult watching the mother of his oldest children having such a rough time.
“Being on this show, it’s very light-hearted. We’re all supportive of each other.” Heather told PEOPLE about filming “The Flip Off.” Christina added that there was never any drama between the three of them off-camera.
“The Flip Off” season 2 will premiere on HGTV later in 2026.
