Designers Heather Rae El Moussa and Christina Haack aren’t just two parts of a blended family — they genuinely enjoy spending time together. In early January 2026, the pair enjoyed a girls’ night with other mutual friends. As People reported, El Moussa’s Instagram stories from the event don’t just highlight their friendship; they show off the HGTV star’s stunning new home. El Moussa and her husband, Tarek, announced that they had purchased the home in June 2025, sharing the start of their journey on social media.
“Hosting a vision board night with the girls,” El Moussa captioned one clip in her new Instagram story. The room featured has a long, stunning table, a contemporary fireplace, and a wall-mounted television. Fans also got a view of the home’s huge kitchen, where El Moussa shared that she wasn’t concerned about the lack of a pantry. “The only good thing about not having a pantry is Tristan can’t go in there, because he always runs to the pantry and pulls everything down,” she said. The home is reportedly located in Newport Beach, California.

In a joint Instagram post, Heather and Tarek opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate their move-in day. “Our first night in the new house,” Heather captioned the post. “Celebrated this new chapter with a little backyard champagne with my boys. Can’t wait to have all the kids here.”
Buying the stunning house was a long process for the couple, who originally started hunting in 2024. While speaking with Hello! in October 2024, Heather explained that the pair began looking for a home to better suit their growing family. “We live at the beach right now,” she said at the time. “So we’re looking to move to something with a backyard because we’re kind of tight space right now.”
In an empty house tour of the home, Heather revealed that space was in healthy supply in their new digs. “We fell in love with this house because of how open it is,” she said. “When we walked in, it was just like high ceilings… everything was open.”
El Moussa and Haack Continue Their Positive Coparenting Relationship

Although it took time for a positive relationship to develop, the two HGTV stars have made it work. As People reported, even as she was moving into a new home, Heather still took time to wish Haack a warm (and public) happy birthday. “It’s crazy how far we’ve come & most will never understand how we are friends,” she wrote in an Instagram Story. “I’m grateful for our relationship & our ability to rise above the noise!”
