Jenny Marrs is sharing the love she received about her upcoming book, including a rave review from fellow HGTV star, Erin Napier. See what Napier and others said about the “Fixer to Fabulous” star’s book.
Jenny Marrs ‘Teared Up’ While Reading Praise for Her New Book
On September 4, Marrs took to Instagram to share a number of kind testimonials about her book, “Trust God, Love People”
“Writing a book is a private, quiet, introspective journey. Sharing it with the world feels noisy and awkward,” she shared in the caption. “It’s hard to hand over my words, my stories, in such a vulnerable way.”
Marrs continued, “So, when friends whom I admire deeply share their thoughts about my work, I am deeply moved and immensely grateful. As the early readers’ feedback came in, I teared up reading each word. I’m overwhelmed in the best possible way. 🥹”
The HGTV star added that “Trust God, Love People” is available for pre-order ahead of its October 7 release. “To everyone who has already done so, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I don’t fully understand the publishing industry but I do know that preorders are vitally important for every author,” Marrs shared.
She also reminded fans, “If you have preordered, or are planning to, please be sure to fill out the entry form (at the link in my profile) to enter for a chance to win a couple of really special days in Bentonville to celebrate my book launch with me. 🫶”
Erin Napier Among Those Praising Jenny Marrs’ Book
Marrs shared some of the quotes that friends wrote about her book. Among them was Napier, who noted, “Jenny writes with a tender, open-hearted honesty that makes you feel less alone in your own longings and fears, a reminder that grace and goodness are always waiting on the other side of uncertainty.”
In her September 4 Instagram Stories, Marrs shared the book reviews, noting of Napier, “One of the very best things about the HGTV family is the way we support one another.”
She added, “@erinnapier is one of the best about that. Thank you friend!”
Marrs’ husband, Dave, also posted about the book, writing, “I’m so very proud of my incredible wife and her second book!”
She shared her appreciation for Dave on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Thank you @dave.marrs. Quite literally couldn’t have written this book without you.”
Other kind words about her book included a quote from bestselling author Lisa-Jo Baker, who wrote: “Jenny lives life with the front door wide open — to kids, llamas, TV crews, the unexpected, the hard, and the holy. An irresistible invitation to step inside and be changed by her choice to welcome the world in.”
