HGTV star Leslie Davis is “choosing” peace after a year of major life changes, including getting engaged to “Rock the Block” co-star Don Reidy.
The “Unsellable Houses” star shared her life update via Instagram on Saturday, August 22.
Leslie’s Peace
Amid her family vacation to Alaska, Davis — who announced her engagement to Reidy in January — shared a positive life update.
“This past year taught me the power of choosing my peace and holding my circle close,” she captioned a photo dump from their trip. “It wasn’t easy, but it led me right here—surrounded by the ones who fill my tank. Wouldn’t trade these guys (or these Seward views) for the world. 🏔️🤍”
Leslie, her sons, Kyler, Cash, and Cole, and future husband Don posed for photos while on a fishing adventure in Seward, Alaska.

Leslie first announced her engagement to the HGTV carpenter in January, explaining that Don “popped the question” during a holiday in Leavenworth.
“SURPRISE 🤭 Don popped the question during a snowy Leavenworth snowmobile ride, joined by all three of my boys, which made it even more perfect,” she captioned her surprise announcement. “Turns out Rock the Block gave me a win in more than one way🥹💍❄️ Somewhere between sunup-to-sundown chaos and lots of laughs, I found my person. Don, you are my safe place, my teammate, and my favorite adventure buddy.”
She added, “What started as a friendship during one of the wildest experiences of my life turned into true love. We were in it together then… and now we’re in it together forever. Still smiling. Still shocked. Still so excited for this next chapter. 🥂✨”
Leslie and Don’s Romance
Fans were left in shock by Davis’ engagement announcement and many were still under the impression that she was married to ex-husband Jacob Davis — with whom she shares her teenage sons.
She later explained that she and Don met while filming season 5 of “Rock the Block.”
“Through the stressful days, endless hours, and lots of laughs in between, we became best friends and continued to stay in touch post-filming,” she shared via a blog post in January. “Don was living in Colorado and working on other HGTV favorites, while I was wrapping up filming ‘Unsellable Houses’ season 5 here in Snohomish, but we made an effort to keep our friendship growing. With hundreds of FaceTime calls that turned into dates and quick weekend trips to see each other, it was clear we were more than friends.”
Don later relocated to be closer to his future bride, instantly clicking with her boys.
“Over the past two years, one of our favorite things to do together has been to travel. I’m even writing this as we are on the plane headed to California for a weekend of fun with the boys. Along our travels, we have been trying new things, and I am even starting to understand his love for the theater and musicals, something I never thought I would be into,” she continued.
