American-French actor Timothée Chalamet enjoyed a wonderful evening last night, Sunday January 11, at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards. Not only did he walk away with the award for Best Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, he was also accompanied by his beautiful girlfriend, Kylie Jenner. A romantic moment between the pair was ever so sweetly interrupted by Elle Fanning.
Chalamet, 30, and Jenner, 28, were getting close at the Beverly Hilton, in Beverly Hills, California, exhibiting PDA that included a lot of touching and a couple of kisses, when Fanning, 27, arrived unannounced.
Elle Fanning Congratulated Timothée Chalamet on His Win
Practically mid-kiss with Timothée Chalamet, Kylie Jenner was tapped on the shoulder by actress Elle Fanning. Fanning said “I don’t want to interrupt,” before embracing the media personality, socialite, and businesswoman.
Fanning then told Jenner she looked beautiful before boisterously shouting “CONGRATS” at Chalament — a video of which can be seen on “Entertainment Tonight’s” Instagram account.
The 22-second clip is captioned, “Elle Fanning couldn’t wait to wish Timothée Chalamet congrats after his #GoldenGlobes win! 💛” An on-screen caption on the video reads, “Elle Fanning accidentally interrupts Kylie and Timothée’s PDA at the Golden Globes 😭.”
Fanning clearly meant well and her arrival was welcomed by both Chalamet and Jenner. That’s completely unsurprising, as Chalamet and Fanning are friends. The pair have worked together before on more than one occasion. They appeared in Woody Allen’s 2019 rom-com “A Rainy Day in New York” and the 2024 Bob Dylan biopic “A Complete Unknown” together (they are pictured below at the New York premiere of the latter).
Fans Loved the Wholesome Interaction Between the Star Trio
GettyThe comments section of “Entertainment Tonight’s” video was teeming with Instagram users loving the interaction between Elle Fanning, Kylie Jenner, and Timothée Chalamet.
One user said, “Elle screaming congrats omg I love her😂.”
Another user wrote, “The friendship Elle and Timmy have is sooooo fun! love them.”
Someone else commented, “I love how happy Elle is for Timmy. ❤️❤️that’s friendship.”
Finally, one person noted, “Elle is a doll 👏 I’d be honored to have her interrupt me.”
We’d like to send our sincere congratulations to Timothée Chalamet for his Golden Globes victory. He won the award for his role as Marty Mauser in the 2025 sports comedy-drama movie “Marty Supreme.” He was absolutely fantastic in the film and it was undoubtedly well deserved.
This year, Chalamet is set to reprise his role as Paul Atreides in Denis Villeneuve’s epic space opera sequel “Dune: Part Three.” We can’t wait to see it.
