Khloé Kardashian has opened up about her health, revealing that she recently traveled to Mexico to undergo a treatment that has not been approved in the United States. She shared her journey with fans on Instagram, where she boasts an impressive 301 million followers.
Khloé Kardashian Thanks Clinic for Stem Cell Treatment
Stem cells are often used to treat blood disorders or cancers. “Stem cells are a special type of cells that have two important properties. They are able to make more cells like themselves. That is, they self-renew,” Mayo Clinic reports. “And they can become other cells that do different things in a process known as differentiation.”
But why does Kardashian need them? The reality TV star revealed why she was undergoing treatment and thanked Dr. Khan and his team for their work. “I recently had the most INCREDIBLE experience that I had to share. Plus no one likes a gate keeper,” she said in a post on Instagram on August 27.
Kardashian revealed she had a “muse stell cell treatment,” adding, “I work out 5 days a week so having something to help with recovery, inflammation and overall wellness, is next level. Not to mention the bonus of anti-aging (maybe my favorite perk). I’m in awe of the science and so hopeful for the future. My dream is that one day treatments like this will be accessible and affordable to everyone, everywhere.”
She also mentioned that she had traveled to the Eterna Health clinic with one of her sisters. Khloe’s older sister, Kim Kardashian, appears in the photos alongside her.
Kardashian concluded her message with thanks for the “amazing care.” She continued, “I know what a privilege this treatment is, and I feel so incredibly blessed we were able to receive it and with such great care. Coming back soooooooon. I have fallen in love with stem cells.”
