North West, the 12-year-old daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, had no time for nonsense as she visited Universal in late January 2026. As she walked past the dinosaur-themed valet parking sign, the rising musician and established TikTok star looked amused before saying “Sorry” to a fan who yelled out, “Can I take a picture?”
The original video seems to have been shared by German TikToker Nona Kanal, who overlaid it with text in her native language that read, “POV: Kim Kardashian’s daughter is rejecting you.” The video was reposted by a North West TikTok fan page that mistakenly captioned North’s reply as “nawrrr,” and the famous preteen left a comment clarifying, “I say sorry.”
In the video, the fan then replies, “No? Okay.”
Fans Applaud North West’s Choice to Decline a Photo
The general fan reaction to North’s funny and polite photo denial was applause for holding a boundary, especially considering although she might be famous, North is still a child. One person commented on TikTok, “Understood, like she’s a kid she probably doesn’t wanna be taking pictures all the time.” Another person commented on an Instagram clip of the moment, “Rightfully so.”
North made her Instagram debut on December 19, 2025, posting a blurry peace sign pic to an account which states it is “managed by parents” in the bio. Her page is currently following only a handful of people, and among them are her parents, the stylist Dani Levi, and the hip hop artist Lil Uzi Vert.
In a 2024 interview, North discussed the evolution of her style. She said, “I like streetwear, ’90s, Tyler the Creator, my dad, me!” Since that interview, she has leaned into a grunge Balenciaga-centric aesthetic, and Page Six reported on November 25, 2025 that she stepped out wearing a $5k look by the luxury brand.
Currently, the most instantly recognizably style marker for the young starlet is her long blue hair.
North Previously Demanded ‘No Pictures!’ As an Adorable Toddler
North’s recent photo denial is a nostalgic reminder of her unforgettably cute, but sad, paparazzi moment that took place back in 2015 when she yelled “No pictures!” while heading into a ballet studio.
North West Just Called Out a TikTok Imposter
On January 30, North took to her TikTok Stories to warn fans that one of her friends, Leah Ruby, was being impersonated by a fake account. “Not Ruby,” she captioned a screenshot of the offending page, which has managed to attract over 90k followers.
North then shared the correct page, writing, “This is her.”
