American rapper Cardi B has quietly reunited with her former husband and fellow rapper Offset. The pair are currently going through a divorce and have engaged in a number of public spats in recent months.
However, the estranged couple put their differences aside for an important family occasion over the weekend. In social media posts, both parents revealed that they attended a joint birthday party for two of their children.
The lavish event saw both Disney and “Sonic the Hedgehog” decorations for the two kids. Their son Wave turned five on September 4 while their daughter Blossom turned two on September 7. Although they didn’t appear together, the pair were seemingly able to be amicable despite the public tension between them.
Cardi B & Offset Both Attend Children’s Birthday Party
As you might expect given Cardi B’s style, the birthday party appeared lavish. Photographs and videos posted online showed everything from elaborate balloon displays to carnival games. Cardi B herself was even dressed for the occasion. She wore a red polka-dot dress, yellow heels, and mouse ears to transform into Minnie Mouse.
The various images that the Cardi B and Offset shared showed Wave, Blossom, and their eldest daughter, 8-year-old Kulture, all playing and dancing together. Yet, the two parents notably did not appear in any photographs together. This suggests that there is no reconciliation on the horizon, with both attending to support their children.
In a caption to her Instagram post, Cardi B wrote, “Happy birthday to my Virgo babies Wave (9/4) 🦈& Blossom (9/7)🌸 …I love yall sooo much …My first and cool son and My Blossy Belles just brightens up the house. I love my babies soo much.”
Cardi B & Offset’s Divorce Has Become Increasingly Contentious
Cardi B and Offset originally married in 2017. Since then, they have shared an on-again off-again relationship, with Cardi B first filing for divorce in 2020. While she later withdrew the divorce proceedings, she again started the process in August 2024. This second filing came around the same time that they were expecting their third child together.
The relationship between the two rappers deteriorated further following the divorce filing. Several public spats followed, with Cardi B accusing Offset of being an absentee father. Meanwhile, he later suggested that she had cheated on him while pregnant.
Cardi B has since started a relationship with NFL star Stefon Diggs. The new couple welcomed their first child in November 2025, although have not released any information about his name. Diggs has since been full of praise for Cardi B. Earlier this year he said, “That’s a beautiful, talented mother. I love her to death.”
Despite all the bitterness surrounding their separation, they have frequently reunited for family events. Just weeks after the 2024 divorce filing, they were seen together celebrating Wave’s third birthday.
