The “Beautiful” singer posted several photos that give a glimpse into her life, including her reading a book, standing in a field, sharing a moment with her fiancé Matt Rutler, and of her daughter holding her around her neck as they smiled for the cameras. In the caption, she wrote, “summerween.”

Aguilera is a mother to two children, her first child, Max was born in 2008. She shares him with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman. Her second child, Summer, was born in 2014 and she shares her with her fiancé Matt Rutler.
In an August 2024 interview with Glamour, Aguilera spoke about motherhood and the ways it has changed her life. In the interview, she was visibly emotional as she discussed how she had been “lecturing” and “overtalking” to her children. “I’ve seen so much so young,” she said. “You just want the best for your kids.”
She continued, “I love my son and my daughter so much, and you do want to shield and protect them from the world. But they have to learn their own lessons.” The singer reflected on how quickly time had gone, as she watched her children growing up. “I’ll never see that person again,” she said. “They’re going to make their own choices and mistakes that define how they want to be. It’s such a layered, interesting thing to be a parent and watch these people, these humans, grow up.”

The “Genie in a Bottle” singer has also discussed motherhood in an Instagram reel. The clip showed a closer look at both of her children, and some of the beautiful memories they have made, including Summer Rain joining her mother onstage, doing crafts, watching a game, and both of Aguilera’s children having a balloon fight.
“Motherhood has opened my heart in ways I never knew possible. Watching my kids grow, learn, and love fills me with endless wonder. Grateful every day for this journey,” she wrote in the caption. Fans showed Aguilera some love in the post’s comment section, flooding it with praise.
