Christina Aguilera, 45, was a vision on the red carpet at the 2026 Breakthrough Prize awards, also known as the Oscars of science.
The “Lady Marmalade” singer was joined by her longtime fiancé, Matthew Rutler, as they posed for photos at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, on Saturday, April 18.
Aguilera and Rutler packed on the PDA by sharing a kiss before heading into the award show, where several recipients were honored for their outstanding discoveries in life science, fundamental physics and mathematics.

Aguilera styled her hair in a short bob with front bangs. The hitmaker’s glam made her striking blue eyes pop with the help of a silver-colored smokey eye.
The former “Voice” coach’s fiancé looked handsome in a black and white suit with a matching black necktie. Rutler, who has been engaged to Aguilera since 2014, let his fiancée enjoy the spotlight on the red carpet for a moment before he made his presence known by wrapping his arm around her waist.

GettyWhile Aguilera has remained a popular figure in the music industry since the early 2000s, Rutler also has roots in the entertainment realm as a production assistant.
According to People, Aguilera and Rutler first met on the set of the 2010 movie “Burlesque.” At the time, Aguilera was starring as the innocent yet talented burlesque newcomer Ali Rose, while Rutler worked behind the scenes as a production assistant.
Aguilera and Rutler share one daughter, Summer, 11. The singer also has a teenage son named Max, 18, whom she welcomed with ex-husband Jordan Bratman before filing for a divorce in 2010.
Despite choosing not to get married to Rutler just yet, Aguilera opened up in a previous birthday tribute for her partner about how thankful she is for his commitment to her and their daughter.

You continuously impress me with how devoted, driven and hardworking you are, while being a devoted, loving and thoughtful parent & partner,” she wrote on Instagram. “You always strive to be better and never settle for anything but.
