If you’re being totally honest with yourself, if you were asked to guess which two stars had formed the latest A-list celebrity friendship, rapper Ice Spice and “Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown would probably be among the last duo you’d put together.
One’s a 26-year-old American hip-hop artist, known for her Bronx drill-influenced music and “baddie” persona, the other’s a 22-year-old well-spoken British actress who feels as though she’s still on her child-star-to-adult trajectory.
However, as it happens, they appear to be besties!
That unexpected (but wholly awesome) friendship was more than evident in a recent social media post by Ice Spice.
Ice Spice & Millie Bobby Brown Look Fantastic Together
Ice Spice uploaded a series of photographs to be shared with the 11.3 million followers on her Instagram account.
Specifically, the post includes a carousel of 11 photographs, starting with one in which Ice Spice is balancing an object on her behind. While most of the images are selfies, nestled in amongst them are two photographs of Ice Spice with Millie Bobby Brown — and the two superstars look incredibly friendly.
In the two pictures of the pair, they’re inside what looks like a replica of an old-fashioned British red phone booth. Brown is wearing a red crop top with grey trousers, while Ice Spice is wearing a black dress. Both ladies look stunning.
The other photographs in the carousel include pictures of Ice Spice with curly hair, straight hair, in a recording studio, in a car, at home, and wearing a black and white polka dot skirt so short that it would probably qualify as a belt.
The only thing Ice Spice wrote as the post’s caption was a pink bow emoji: “🎀.”
Rising Atlanta rapper Noodah05’s track “Around Me” plays over the top of the post.
Naturally, the post caused quite a stir, so the comments section is filled with excited messages from fans of the pair.
Everyone Loved the Ice Spice-Millie Bobby Brown Friendship

Brown herself commented on the post, writing, “angel 💖.”
Her commented prompted one Instagram user to reply, “@milliebobbybrown two angles [sic] in one frame 🫶🏻💜.”
One of Ice Spice’s followers noted, “the most unexpected friendship 🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️.”
A Millie Bobby Brown fan account wrote, “The friendship I least expected, and now I’m in love! 😜”
Someone else proclaimed, “u and millie are so cool omg.”
“Ugh thank you for blessing us 😍,” said one particularly appreciative follower.
Meanwhile, one person commented on a photograph in the carousel in which Ice Spice is makeup-free, writing, “I’m really loving the natural face & blemishes!! 😩😍❤️🔥”
Finally, somebody else said, “Spice and Millie look very iconic!!❤️🖤”
While Ice Spice and Millie Bobby Brown’s friendship is certainly not one we could have predicted, we undoubtedly think it’s fabulous. Hopefully, we’ll get to see more of this iconic pairing together in the future. Could there be a collaboration of some kind between them? We’ll definitely have our fingers crossed for that.
