Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are heading into the holiday season with full schedules, family traditions, and a growing public curiosity about how they plan to celebrate Thanksgiving 2025. Kelce will spend the holiday on the field, as the Kansas City Chiefs face the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with kickoff set for 4:30 p.m. ET.
What remains uncertain is whether Swift will be cheering from the stands, especially given that she has not attended any away games this season or last. The couple has kept a notably low profile throughout 2025, and they are unlikely to reveal their plans before the holiday arrives.
Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Holiday Plans Revealed
While Kelce’s football schedule is firmly set, Swift’s attendance remains a mystery. Last Thanksgiving, the couple managed to stay completely out of public view, though People later reported that Swift hosted both families in Nashville.
A source told Us Weekly that the pair plans to spend the holiday season together again, saying, “It will be very low-key, family-centric, and won’t involve any major travel.” The report added that Swift and Kelce were likely “planning to split time with their respective families.”
The source also shared that Kelce has become deeply intertwined with Swift’s family. “Travis fits right in with her family, and Taylor adores Donna. They talk all the time,” the insider said. “They make sure to see both sides as often as they can, they are super family-oriented, and they have always loved that about one another.”
Kelce also has a Christmas Day game, though that matchup is at home. Swift attended his Christmas game in 2023 with her family, but she has kept a lower profile whenever she has appeared at Arrowhead Stadium this season.
Jason and Travis Kelce Hilarious Thanksgiving Debate
The holiday topic turned unexpectedly comedic during a recent episode of “New Heights,” the podcast hosted by Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce. A caller claimed that turkey is one of the worst Thanksgiving dishes and questioned why it continues to be the centerpiece of the holiday table.
Jason immediately agreed, responding, “This is why I fry a turkey. It’s hard to eat a turkey unless it’s deep fried and boiled in fat grease.”
Jason went on to reveal that turkey was not a tradition in the Kelce household. “We purposely would never have turkey. Mom would make pork chops or some other meat,” he said.
Despite the criticism, Jason defended the holiday itself, joking, “Everything else about Thanksgiving is so fantastic… and then it gets muddled down, for the most part, the way most people make it, a dry (expletive) bird that you gotta slather gravy and cranberry sauce on to redeem anything about it.”
Swift will soon return to the spotlight as she prepares for the release of her Disney+ docuseries “The End of an Era,” which will debut on December 12.
