Netflix Has Its Own ‘Real Housewives’ Show Coming

Netflix has already conquered the world of reality television with hits like “Selling Sunset” and “Love Is Blind.” Now, the streaming giant has an upcoming competitor to Bravo’s “Real Housewives” franchise, “Members Only: Palm Beach.”

Meet the Cast of ‘Members Only: Palm Beach’

Like Bravo’s “Real Housewives,” “Members Only: Palm Beach” will center on a group of women and explore their relationships. However, with this show, they will have the luxurious Palm Beach backdrop.

According to Netflix, the upcoming series will include five main cast members. They are: Hilary Musser, Taja Abitbol, Rosalyn Yellin, Ro-mina Ustayev, and Maria Cozamanis.

Abitbol discussed “Members Only: Palm Beach,’ saying, “Palm Beach relationships are layered, glamorous, and unpredictable. There’s a lot more beneath the sunshine than anyone expects, because nobody goes lower than high society.”

So, what do we know about the cast? Regarding Musser, she’s a real estate developer. Her Palm Springs rule, which seems to be like a “Real Housewives” tagline, is, “Do not look like a social climber. Phony has a stench to it that no one likes.”

Next, there’s Abitbol. Her biography states that she’s “an innovator in the hospitality industry.” Her Palm Beach rule states, “Never show up underdressed — not to the doctor’s office, not to the beach, not anywhere.”

Then there’s Yellin, who is a noted philanthropist. Her Palm Beach rule is, “Darling, don’t show your boobs and your knees.”

The cast also includes Ustayev, an aspiring singer who made a fortune through a business venture with her brother. Her Palm Beach rule is “I believe rules were meant to be broken.”

Lastly, but not least, is Cozamanis, who is known as the most popular DJ in the city. Her rule is “When it comes to hierarchy, it’s not about money — that’s just the price of admission. The real currency is presence and power.”

Netflix Has Released a Trailer

The streaming giant announced “Members Only: Palm Beach” and released the series’ trailer on December 4. The trailer begins with the cast discussing their part of Florida, noting that it has “many layers” and is “one of the richest zip codes in the United States.”

Quickly, the teaser introduces viewers to the group’s different dynamics. Notably, there’s an emphasis on social hierarchy, with it being stated early on that Musser has the most social clout. From there, the cast is seen both coming together and butting heads.

“Members Only: Palm Beach” premieres on Netflix on December 29.
