Ben Stiller is part of a family filled with famous figures. Along with his wife, actress Christine Taylor, both of Ben’s parents — the late Jerry Stiller and the late Anne Meara — were notable names in Hollywood. Now, his daughter, Ella Stiller (23), is a rising star. Along with sharing a passion for performing, Ella also shares a strong resemblance to her celebrity grandmother.

As for Ella, she’s followed her parents and grandparents into show business and has popped up in “Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb” (2014) and “Happy Gilmore 2” (2025), as well as appearing with “Friends” star Lisa Kudrow in “The Comeback.”
Beyond being in the family business, Ella is just like her grandmother in another way.

Ella & Anne Played Relatives on ‘Sex and the City’ Shows
Ella is not only an actress like her late grandmother, Anne, but the two also had roles in the “Sex and the City” universe. In fact, they played characters who were related.
Evan Ross Katz took to Instagram to share photos of both Ella and Anne in their “And Just Like That…” and “Sex and the City” roles respectively, writing, “Fun fact: Brady’s baby mama Mia (the flatulent shampooist) on AJLT is played by Ella Stiller, daughter of Ben Stiller and granddaughter of the late Anne Meara who played Steve’s mom, Mary Brady, on SATC.”
Therefore, Steve’s mom Mary (Anne) > Steve > Brady > baby mama Mia (Ella). Love it!
