Brooklyn Beckham Career: How He Went From Modeling to Photography, Cooking & Racing

Brooklyn Beckham is best known as the eldest son of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, but he has also built a career spanning several industries. Over the years, Brooklyn has explored fashion, photography, food, and even motorsports — building a name for himself outside of his famous family.

Brooklyn grew up in the spotlight with siblings Romeo Beckham, Cruz Beckham, and Harper Beckham. In January 2026, he also made headlines for addressing reported family tensions, writing on social media that he does “not want to reconcile” with his family. Even with that personal drama in the background, Brooklyn has continued focusing on new projects and career goals.

Brooklyn Beckham Career Started With Soccer Before He Shifted to Fashion

Brooklyn briefly followed in his father’s footsteps by pursuing soccer. He joined Arsenal Football Club’s youth team, but he stopped playing at 16 after not receiving a scholarship to continue.

David previously explained that his son felt pressure because of their family name.

“One of my boys turned around to me the other day and said, ‘Daddy, I’m not sure I want to play football all the time,’” David said in an ABC interview in 2015, via US Weekly. “He said, ‘Every time I step onto the field, I know people are saying, ‘This is David Beckham’s son.’”

Brooklyn later moved into fashion, beginning his modeling career in 2014. His work included magazine covers for Vogue China, Miss Vogue, and Interview, as well as partnerships, including his role as a brand ambassador for Huawei’s Honor 8 smartphones and Superdry.

His First Big Solo Creative Project Was Photography

Brooklyn expanded into photography as a teenager. Even without formal training at the time, he photographed a campaign for Burberry BRIT when he was 16. In 2017, he released a photography book titled “Brooklyn Beckham: What I See.”

That same year, he began a photography course at Parsons School of Design in New York, but he left after one year.

Brooklyn Beckham Career Took a Turn Into Food With Cloud23 Hot Sauce

During the COVID-19 lockdowns, Brooklyn began leaning into cooking. He launched his online series Cookin’ With Brooklyn, where he shared recipes and showed more of his personality.

He has said his skills came through watching and learning, rather than formal culinary training.

“Unfortunately, I’ve never done, like, a cooking class, but I’m obsessed with watching MasterClass,” he told The Times.

Brooklyn later turned that food interest into branding. He launched Cloud23, a hot sauce line sold online and at Whole Foods. The product received attention for its stylish bottles and for being one of Brooklyn’s most visible business ventures yet.

Racing Is His Latest Passion Project

In 2025, Brooklyn added another unexpected lane: motorsports. He appeared in a Formula E documentary, the Formula E Creators’ Challenge, in which celebrities underwent intense training sessions before racing at the Miami International Autodrome.

Brooklyn suggested the experience might not be a one-time thing — and he credited his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham for encouraging him to go for it.

“My wife, Nicola, was a little bit worried,” he told the Daily Mail. “And then she saw me in my race outfit, and she was like, ‘You should do this as a job. You look really good.’ So, I might be changing careers!”

“I think I’ve tried a few things and finally found what I absolutely love,” he added. “I’m just doing my thing really.”
