Cameron Diaz reportedly rushed to Zoe Saldana’s rescue after the actress suffered an injury.
On Thursday, the “Charlie’s Angels” actress, 53, was spotted walking next to the “Avatar” star, 48, in Santa Barbara, California.
Photos shared on social media showed Diaz looking attentive to Saldana, who is wearing what appears to be a wrist brace on her left arm.
X account @ThoughtCatalog reported that Diaz drove Saldana to an urgent care center earlier in the day, before the latter emerged wearing an arm support.

For the rare outing, Diaz kept her look casual in a white T-shirt paired with a light gray cardigan draped over her shoulders, loose black pants and flat sandals. She accessorized with a wide-brimmed white hat and a black crossbody bag.
As for Saldana, she wore a light blue fitted tank top paired with high-waisted jeans and sandals. She completed the look with dark sunglasses and a brown shoulder bag. Saldana also appeared to hold a piece of paper in her other hand. It remains unclear what caused Saldana’s apparent injury.
Diaz and Saldana have been close friends for years. In 2024, Saldana revealed that her three sons even refer to Diaz as “auntie” in Spanish.
Saldana herself told Diaz about this during her speech at Elle’s 2024 Women in Hollywood event.
“Cameron, I am so happy. I’m so inspired by watching you really craft both your massive career and your beautifully private life exactly your own way,” Saldana said, per PEOPLE. “It is an honor to know you, and what a gift for my kids to call you Tia, and I call you friend. I love you. Thank you for being [on the] line for me, for us and for me.”

The Good Charlotte member shared the happy news on Instagram on May 4, gushing about the newest member of their family.
“Cameron and I are Happy, Excited, and feeling so BLESSED to announce the birth of our third Child, Nautas Madden. Welcome to the world Son!” the proud dad captioned the post. “We love life with our family – our kids are healthy and happy, and we are grateful!!! Having a blast. Sending all our best wishes.”
Diaz and Madden are already proud parents to daughter Raddix and son Cardinal.
In January 2025, Diaz admitted that she was more than happy to put her career on hold to raise her and Madden’s children.
“You’re a different person after you have children, after marriage, after building a life,” Diaz told E! News. “Everything changes, your whole perspective, your whole world, your understanding of it. For me, I never made a movie before with a family. So, all of the boxes change that need to be checked off. That’s the most important, and then everything else has to line up to support that.”
Diaz and Madden spent several years trying to grow their family after tying the knot in 2015. They eventually welcomed their first child via surrogate.
