Carmen Electra, 54, Makes Playboy Comeback 30 Years After Her First Shoot

Carmen Electra is returning to her roots at 54 as she makes a major comeback in Playboy.

The Daily Mail reported that the former “Baywatch” star recently shot with the iconic magazine. However, details of her pictorial are being kept tightly under wraps.

Electra posed in various editions of the magazine more than 150 times in the past, making her one of the most featured Playboy models of all time, next to Pamela Anderson and Anna Nicole Smith.

Electra first appeared in Playboy in the May 1996 issue, marking the beginning of her modeling career. Her last official magazine pictorial was in the January 2009 anniversary issue.

Carmen Electra’s Post-Playboy Era

Last week, Electra gave a nod to her Playboy roots as she posed in a leopard print leotard and bunny ears costume at The Abbey in West Hollywood.

The “Lap Dance” star flaunted her incredible figure, proving once again that age is just a number when it comes to looking fabulous.

“Sending all my love to @theabbeyweho for having me celebrate their 35th anniversary and to @playboy for making me a bunny for the evening after shooting with them again,” Electra wrote on Instagram. “I mean, over 150 covers worldwide next to Pam, what an honor. I love u @playboy.”

Following her Playboy career, Electra later pivoted to OnlyFans. She joined the platform in 2022 and remains very active today.

In May 2022, Electra told PEOPLE that joining OnlyFans was a “no-brainer.”

“I just felt like, ‘Yeah, I need to do this,'” Electra explained at the time. “I, for once, have this opportunity to be my own boss and have my own creative vision to share with my fans without someone standing over me, telling me, ‘Don’t do this, don’t do that. Cover up this.'”

Electra noted that the platform allows her to “show a little bit more,” without the restrictions she has faced elsewhere online.

“People are going to do what they want to do anyway with your photos, you might as well be in control of them and follow what you feel like doing inside,” she added.

Will Carmen Electra Join ‘Baywatch’ Reboot?

Meanwhile, Electra previously hinted at possibly joining the “Baywatch” reboot.

Last year, the Lani McKenzie portrayer told TMZ it “could be fun” to reprise her role, adding that she has been talking to the team behind the series.

“I don’t know if I’d want to be in the water necessarily, but I could do the slow-motion run — I can definitely do that,” Electra told the outlet. “I love being around the ocean — working in it is very different. When you’re working in the ocean, it is very complicated.”

The actress continued, “I still look really good in that suit, so that is not a problem.”

The original “Baywatch” ran from 1989 to 2001. Electra starred alongside David Hasselhoff as Mitch Buchannon and Pamela Anderson as C.J. Parker.

Meanwhile, the reboot stars Brooks Nader, Livvy Dunne, Shay Mitchell,  Noah Beck, and Hassie Harrison. The 12-episode series will premiere in January 2027.
