Will Reeve, the son of the late iconic “Superman” actor Christopher Reeve, has married his long-term partner Amanda Dubin (per People).
Will, 33, and Amanda, 29, tied the knot in Miami, Florida, on Saturday, January 17.
ABC News correspondent Will and event planner Amanda went public with their relationship in April 2023 and have been engaged since November 2024 — something the couple announced on Instagram with a joint post shortly after it happened.
On November 10, 2024, the couple’s post announcing their engagement included several photos of Will’s romantic New York City proposal, which took place two days earlier on November 8. The caption on the couple’s post simply read, “Us 🤍.”
Celebrations comprised an intimate gathering with loved ones.
In an appearance on the syndicated morning talk show “Live with Kelly and Mark,” Will shared how he went about the intricately prepared proposal, telling the hosts that “there was some misdirection involved” to ensure Amanda was genuinely surprised.
Disguising his proposal as “a charity event in Manhattan,” Will had Amanda believing he was going ahead with the “dumbest plan” she’d ever heard.
Inside the chosen venue, Will had arranged for there to be roses, a cellist, and a photographer, which Amanda thought was “beautiful.”
The couple’s families had been waiting upstairs for the proposal to happen and, once Amanda had said “yes,” they all joined her and Will to celebrate.

Will Reeve’s ABC News colleague, newscaster Robin Roberts, shared a photo on Instagram of herself sitting next to her wife, Amber Laign, along with the likes of Sam Champion and Lara Spencer, enjoying drinks before the ceremony.
Roberts captioned the post “Pre-party last night before heading to celebrate a beautiful couple say I do!🥂”
She later shared several snaps from the wedding on her Instagram Stories, describing the occasion as “a magical night celebrating a magical couple.”

Will has also appeared as an actor in the 1997 television movie “In the Gloaming” and the 2004 television movie “The Brooke Ellison Story,” and voiced a character in the 2006 animated baseball movie “Everyone’s Hero” (per IMDb).
Christopher Reeve passed away on October 10, 2004, at the age of 52, following years of health struggles after a 1995 equestrian accident left him paralyzed. Dana Reeve passed away from cancer just 17 months later, on March 6, 2006, at the age of 44.
It’s such a shame they couldn’t be at their son’s wedding, but we’re sure it was still a lovely occasion. May Christopher and Dana both rest in eternal peace.
