Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman are both famous figures along with being a celebrity couple (although, FYI, they have been separated since 2017). They’re also parents.
The stars’ daughter, Lucy DeVito, 43, just made an appearance and although she certainly has a look of her own, there’s no doubt that she’s Danny and Rhea’s child.
‘One Glance Made It Clear Who Her Legendary Parents Are’
Getty“Lucy DeVito, the daughter of Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman, is absolutely stunning,” Parade noted on March 14. Beyond that, she “may be the daughter of the Cheers icon and the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star, but she’s a rising starlet in her own right. With a hefty acting resume that includes a stint on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and the Hulu series Deadbeat, Lucy is taking on Hollywood in her own style.”
“But when the brunette beauty hit the red carpet premiere of Drag during the 2026 SXSW conference and festival at the State Theatre in Austin, Texas,” per Parade, “one glance made it clear who her legendary parents are.”
“Standing alongside her beloved father, Danny, Lucy was also joined by her brother, Jake DeVito,” Parade added.
What is “Drag” about?
“‘Drag’ is mostly a sister act, with Lizzy Caplan and Lucy DeVito as quarrelsome siblings who find themselves in ever-deepening trouble during a house robbery gone wrong,” Variety explains. “The more ignobly categorized heroine is a ne’er-do-well who’s scraping by as a bartender, with various dubious side gigs and an even more dubious relationship history. Her sibling — a comparatively upstanding grownup with husband, daughter and restaurant business — has once again gotten reluctantly corralled into assistance, this time as driver/lookout while sis breaks into the home of ‘some guy who owes me money.'”
Danny & Rhea Share 3 Children
Danny and Rhea welcomed their first child “in 1983, one year after their wedding,” according to People. “The couple, now separated, first met in 1971 and lived together for 11 years before tying the knot. They welcomed a second daughter, Grace, in 1985, followed by a son, Jake, in 1987.”
In January 2013, Danny told The Guardian, “I have been very fortunate in my life. I have had a lot of happiness. I have a great family and I work a lot, and that’s what I like to do.”
Following the pair’s separation, Rhea appeared on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” and said, “Danny and I have always loved each other and we have three amazing children.”
