Emily Mortimer & Her Daughter Stun on the Red Carpet

The outing marked a rare joint appearance on the red carpet, offering a glimpse into their bond as mother and daughter. Both looked gorgeous as they posed for photos; Mortimer wore a white Broderie anglaise dress, and Nivola contrasted her mother’s look with a simple black dress, featuring ruffled detailing on the side and a subtle V-neckline. The teen completed the look with matching sandals.
They look so beautiful.

Photos taken from the event show Mortimer and Nivola posing for pictures with Adam Sandler’s wife, Jackie Sandler, and his teen daughters, Sunny and Sadie. Also in the photographs were Laura Dern, as well as Dern’s adult daughter, Jaya Harper. Harper is 20.
In the group photo, Harper is holding hands with actress Naomi Watts. Everyone looked so beautiful in their chosen gowns.

“Jay Kelly” is directed by Noah Baumbach and set for release on November 14, 2025. The film stars Mortimer, Dern, Sandler, and other A-listers, including George Clooney, Billy Crudup, Riley Keough, and Grace Edwards.

Mortimer is not always joined by May at red-carpet events, but her daughter is embracing the spotlight and following in her mother and father’s footsteps. In 2022, she had her breakout role in the Noah Baumbach-directed film, “White Noise.”
“White Noise” starred Adam Driver, Greta Gerwig, and Don Cheadle. May played the role of
Steffie and her brother Sam played the role of Heinrich.
May has been interested in the entertainment industry since childhood. When she was 8 years old, she debuted her music video “Airborne” for the 2018 film “Head Full of Honey,” People reports. Til Schweiger directed the comedy/drama film and the music video.
