Actress and producer Jessica Chastain turns 49 today. The Academy Award-winning star was born on March 24, 1977, in Sacramento, California.
Chastain, who won her Best Actress Oscar for playing the eponymous American evangelist Tammy Faye Messner in 2021’s “The Eyes of Tammy Faye,” has also been nominated on two other occasions at the prestigious ceremony.
Her first nomination came for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the 2011 period drama “The Help.” Her second nomination was for Best Actress for her role in 2012’s political action thriller “Zero Dark Thirty.”
Per IMDb, this year, Chastain will star in the supernatural horror movie “Other Mommy.” She is also set to star in the mystery thriller film “Heartland” and Apple TV miniseries “The Savant.” None of those productions have a confirmed release date at this time.

In the clip, in which Chastain’s titular character is shown baking and decorating cupcakes, she takes some frosting off a cupcake, licks it off her finger, and laughs cheekily.
